Yeah I cop a bit on here regarding our man Majak. I see him and his position as much more than footy, the effort he puts in for a guy paid five fifth's of not much is and should rewarded. He works very hard at this caper.

Add in his life travels, a bloody refugee camp in Egypt FFS. He's done it the hard way. I suppose I see some similarities between myself and Maj. Orphanage in Broad meadows for me and a bloody Egyptian father. Before I was taken out of there as a late round draft choice and became ' naturally north'.

Mate was only 13 months old when I left wasn't there long enough for home made tatts. lol

Out of all my family plus my 25 uncles and aunts and subsequent 100 odd cousins I was the only one who didn't fry in the midday sun. It was being different growing up in Mulgrave and people questioning why I looked like I do. Got bloody tiresome and was only when my kids were a little older I decided to trace my roots. I've the most sounding Irish surname doing the rounds. Don't get me wrong finding out my blood lines and the name attached was fairly awesome and that it dates back 2000 odd years was leveling. But am loyal to my family and will always be of Irish decent, have a freaking Irish passport to prove it.

I will always stick up for those a little different and those that have had it a little tough. So for those potting Majak I'll probably just go both barrels, is easier

I agree when you're talking about forwards, but I'd have thought we need a second ruck more than another KP? It seems Brown drops off when the other two play, Scott know best I suppose. Looking forward to his contract finishing though.

we've done well regarding player retention. maybe the club knows where it's all at. I'd assume not all our 34 year olds will play on in 2017

Disappointing but saw this a mile a way. Just hope Waite is fit. If Petire retires Maj should get a run more regularly in 2017.
They just need to sell him on that. And lets not forget the two 50m penalties he gave up, those annoy any coach, he should know those rules.
A harsh lesson but you hope he doesn't get that wrong in the future.

I love the guy but he needs to impact more as a forward to get a certain spot or this will happen every time. Some of his forward leading last week was woeful. I hope we can sell him on next year and give him every chance to tear 2017 up but when everyone is fit i think hes 5th in line as a forward and we would be way too slow with him playing relief ruck and not forward.

Really hope he signs on though
