#1 Ruckman?

I'm in a fantasy footy comp this year and I need to know who will be your #1 ruckman now that French has retired. McLaren, Ackland or Cloke? Thanks in advance.

You'd be fairly safe in assuming:

1. Ackland
2. Cloke
3. McLaren (has been plaugued with some back?? injuries) hbf, you could fill us in about this?

Ackland will get first shot at it. Cloke offers more around the ground by the looks so will also get a regular game. There is a possibility that Hampson will come in at some point and on current form, Ackland my be pushed out.

McLaren a long shot IMO. Got forced out for Bryan last year and has had a back injury.

Ackland, but Cloke may surprise.

Ackland and Cloke will most probably share the honours for most of the season. Ackland will probably start in the middle, Cloke either up forward or on the bench, and they will rotate throughout games.

McLaren will be backup, will struggle this year.

I'm impressed with this Daylight kid. Seems to come into calculations quite a lot these days. One to watch.

Young Jacobs better watch out for him though.......with skin like that daylight could be lethal.

If you're in a fantasy footy comp, pick Dean Cox or Jeff White as your ruckman...

But, for CFC, one would assume it will be Ackland, Cloke and then McLaren, if it comes to that

He may never be the best at any one thing but he is in the top 5 for everything. That sort of versatility is rare.

For instance, he is ranked amongst the top 5 rucks here, but I have also seen him ranked as the second best midfielder in the competition.

Well a team of perfect footballers will never be popular amongst opposition supporters but then they respect them enough to not hate them the most.

McLaren will play some games. He's a solid young player with good skills.

Ackland would have his nose infront of the other 2 at this stage though. Neither the young O'hAilpin or Hampson will be ready this year either.

Our ruck is still a weakness, but not many teams have gun ruckmen. Probably just the western sides in fact.

Yes, Cox and White went quickly. Managed to nab Sandilands and I'm looking for a backup. Looking at ruckmen who may be get more opportunities this year hence looking at Carlton and St Kilda.

One of Ackland or Cloke. Barring injury, I wouldn't expect Ackland to play more than a handful of games.

i tip ackland will cement a permanent spot pretty quckly seing he's no1 Ruckman be the younger ones who only play a hand full

Ackland be a Allen and play just about all 22 Games bar if he gets injured
Cloke be close as well to play all 22 H & A games

doubt ackland only get a handfull of games aint going to Happen
