I've always loved this one...

It's like he goes out of his way to find Varcoe and dump him before running off in the other direction. I imagine that there is a universe somewhere where there is a Varcoe coming from the other direction that he goes and dumps again.

Definitely my all-time favourite, and not just because I was stuck in a litter of several thousand Geelong supporters who squealed like stuck pigs the moment it happened... "Oh come on umpire, that was a fend off!" Like in the alternate reality of GHB Stadium, fending off is an automatic free kick to Geelong.

It's pretty bloody obvious the gravitas that Cunners has around the club and the regard in which he's held by everyone. We don't see much of his personality because of his media shyness but it's telling that LDU speaks of him as a mentor both on and off the field.
