Hope Cunners is equally enthusiastic about his footy after a disappointing 2016.

Looks great and reports very positive.

The reel alone (Daiwa saltiga0 is worth around 1200 bucks off the shelf. You can spend an incredible amount on fishing gear if you go the top end quality products. (Like any hobbie I suppose...fishing just happens to be mine)

Here I was thinking it looks like a very lightweight setup.

78-82% game time this year pls Ben.

68% simply isn't sufficient for a mid career footballer.

Looked lean and fresh last Saturday. Moved along the ground well. Hopefully he's worked on his running over the summer and wins the Syd. Cunners winning the Syd Barker means we'll have a very good year!

He looked very sharp agree. He'll never be a fast man but if he can lift his endurance to be an 80% TOG player at his pace that would be a very good result.

The *?? The only reason that happened was because Duryea lunged forward to punch the ball away, what else was he supposed to do?

Star North Melbourne midfielder Ben Cunnington could miss the season opener after being offered a one-game suspension from the match review panel.

Cunnington was sighted by the MRP for engaging in rough conduct with dual premiership Hawthorn defender Taylor Duryea during North’s 21-point practice match win at Arden Street on Sunday.

If the 25-year-old accepts the sanction, he will sit out the Kangaroos’ round one meeting with West Coast at Etihad Stadium on March 26.

The Match Review Panel's findings were as follows:
Ben Cunnington, North Melbourne, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Taylor Duryea, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the Week Two JLT Community Series match between North Melbourne and Hawthorn, played at Arden Street on Sunday February 26, 2017.

In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Hawthorn Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a one-match sanction.

I'm citing this for sighting.
