I know against anyone its important {round one}, but by hell its something we need to show this mob and this is the game to do it! They have Zack Butters, they have Judas, if he's not injured, they have Miller Bergman, a good player but sometimes his kicking lets him down and they have captain Connor Rozee who at times can be a very dangerous player.

We have an All Australian full forward in Nick Larkey who as captain just might be the making of him, wonderkid Harry Sheezel, "the gun" Colby McKercher, another gun who is ready to explode, "The warlord" in George Wardlaw, should of been All Australian ruckman in Tristan Xerri, LDU, last year was the fittest he's ever been and a lot of clubs put a tag on him, good luck with that this year, Cooper "Don't forget me" Trembath, at 193cm he has the spring and marking power to go to the next level next year, more so with his first pre-season into him.

Last and by no means least, the "The Magician", Lachie Dovaston, he is going to give ports defence a complete headache, we now have ample firepower to take them out and there are a couple others in the reserves who will need some games but the pre-season games and practice matches will be interesting, its not about winning or losing but getting our structure right and playing as a team, I saw it a bit more last year of what we were capable of, now we need to do it more often and destroy teams when we get on a roll, the last two years has been a learning curve , we haven't been ready, we've done our apprenticeship, now a few teams are going to find out about us in a bad way.
