The boy gets 30 and 2 and some are still critical. Imagine how good he will be when he cleans up those short kicks. I hate to make the comparison but he reminds me of Merrett. Before anyone criticise the comparison Zach is a hell of a player.

He tries to bullet pass his kicks and needs to give them more air.
Confidence is up and is now fending off players on his runs

Merrett is f*cking champion. If we can convert a pick 2 into someone like him, you take that deal every day of the week.

It will come, most likely with size and confidence, but he has a ways to go in the contest (understandably) at AFL level.

Just on Merrett I was very wrong about him. I used to think he was a diving squib. Maybe early days he had a bit of that but Christ the way he carries * and delivers every week is impressive.
