Not overwhelmed by the occassion. Very clean for a second gamer. To have the ability to hit targets under pressure on the left in the defensive 50 is superb. Definitely see him ending up in the midfield though, only fitness holding him back from that right now.

That moment where he cannoned into Josh Thomas (probably could’ve been a free kick for contact below the knees) was pretty inspiring. He seems to have that dense physique that really makes an impact in a collision. Will be good to see how he goes after 3-4 more preseasons.

Stocky is doing well considering the pressure he has to endure. Some nice touches today on both sides. He’s an old style footballer in my eyes.

It appears like he misses targets but the approaching players have got to position themselves where he’s kicking the ball. When they do they will find that they’re in the best position to damage the oppo.

I feel this is true right across the field.....its starting to happen. Kicks a metre off to a standing reciever..are becoming centimetres off to moving targets.

Were you kicking to position? If you were then your team mates didn’t understand the game on a deep enough level.

Something about Liam. Can't put it in words other than to say he has the guts that are needed.

To me he has 'it'. 'It' being toughness and mongrel (along with clear kicking skills). Exactly what we need. Couple of years developing and unleash him in middle rotation.

Be interesting to see what our machinations were on the trade scenario for this season’s draft position.
Where did we think we’d finish & Adelaide’s prospects from our perspective?
Could it be Rowell/Anderson for Stocker & J.Martin for instance.
If we finish last would we have swapped pick#1 for say pick #12 & Stocker (that’s where it gets blurred as it would unlikely be the case). Headline of Stocker Shocker wanting to be used.

Looking forward to seeing him develop in the midfield or up forward when the regular backs return. Digs in and looks to have very tidy disposal, a much needed requirement for us.

Think the lad will turnout alright.

Yup Liam is old fashion soild mid, this youngster will bring us much joy.
Has good vision, beautiful kick on both sides , a tough nut too over the next 4 or 5 games more good signs, just finding he’s feet this season. An astute selection worth the risk.

I see a bit of Diesel Williams (not saying as good) or Buddha Hocking. Tough nuggety player with great skills on both sides. Very competitive and will find a lot of ball. He will be a beauty this kid
