Easily and I mean easily the best game he has played in his career. Let’s hope we seen this harder edged Stephens in every game for the future!

Seriously good game, so much so first comment about the game or player goes to him. Went hard when it was his turn, pushed back and hurt em going forward. I had my doubts if his heart was really in to but that was heart and a a compete game. Great stuff!

In reality he has had a complete skill set since he arrived - except for the lack of 'hardness'.

That element of his game was getting fixed through 2025...what he presented yesterday was the all round wingman role that he is capable of.

Apparently he had nine or ten clearances. But not much happened with them and he seemed ineffectual most of the day. I think FOS beat him.

I reckon he is beginning to play like Dal Santo.
He isn't a tough guy by any means but can run all day and provide good linkage. His disposal is generally good too.
