North website just updated injury list:

Nathan Grima - 2 weeks.

Magic mate, magic.

Maybe we should leave him on the injury list indefinitely at 2 weeks, a bit like retiring a jumper out of respect.

Nooooooo. :(

Thank you so much for your service Nathan. It was so horrible seeing how much pain you were in on the afl half time segment a few months back. It really seems to have taken its toll.

Healthy could have had a career as one of the best if not most solid backs in the league.

Good luck Narni, one of the most refreshing characters in the afl. Always spoke as himself and not some mindless robot. Great backman too. Always felt more confident of our defense when he played. Really hope we see him in the media regularly.

:(

Thanks Narns. You've been a bloody legend.

Probably the most likeable bloke on our list , hopefully he finds a spot in the media . Imagine Narni as a boundary rider the gold he has come up with every time he speaks in the media .

Top bloke, sad to see him retire.
Should give him a role at the club.

Surprised we still haven't announced Leigh Adams retirement, would think that would be happenining

Bummer. For all the good he must have brought to the locker room I reckon we've missed him on field more than we'd like to admit.

All the best on media street Narni.

It shouldn't be in his hands, club should make the call now, we have a guy that is getting pole-axed almost every game he goes out, we should pull the trigger for the sake of his long-term health, also put him on a long-term health plan so we can monitor if he is developing signs of concussion related damage and be pro-active about getting him treatment.

Could have been an elite defender.

Think there was a patch in his career in 2012 (?) when he put together some great games and we were all talking about AA for him, until injury hit.

After watching a decade of North sides where we had no backline and Shannon Watt was our fullback, it was great to have two players in Scott Thompson and Grima come onto the scene together where you knew that when they both got on the park, that they would hold their own against the key forwards in the comp.
