Lets look at it another way. He started as a midfielder as anyone his size with talent does in junior ranks. Coaches saw he has the craft to be more than a standard run of the mill midfielder and he was good enough up forward to get very good reviews and be drafted. So yes he is a small forward now and by all reports could be a very good one.

I can understand that point of view but from the outside I reckon the rebuild is working at the very least. Working and worked are different though so I get you.

Imagine a player of his class learning off the GOAT.... Jayden Short. He'd be unstoppable.

Hopefully Little Corey goes well for the blues. I know a lot of tiger supporters seem to hate the blues, it'd be good if the blues rise and we can get a bit of that fire back between the clubs.

I like his attitude a lot.
Has boxed and says he loves combat sports for the discipline and respect they teach you.
Is well aware he’s not tall, and has talked to Brent Harvey about what it takes to succeed.
Uses the fact that many people think short guys can’t succeed in this sport as motivation.
If we consider attitude to be just as important as physical attributes, then I think he has at least one genuinely elite trait.
Reckon we’re going to love this guy.
