Who would have picked Waite to be kicking a ball anywhere today?
They must still think of him as a possibility or even a foil should we proceed any further this year.
It's actually quite baffling, considering he was meant to go in to surgery, as per MS3's article.
1. The AFL only cares about us bringing the game into disrepute when we're a flag chance. Even now I can tell we're not totally legitimate contenders because the AFL isn't try to derail us
2. I said on the Collingwood board last week - winning form is good form. What's more, you were only in the top 4 because you'd played an extra game!
3. That's totally inane. It's like leading for the whole game and losing at the end.
As opposed to your lot who are only in the top 4 because you played the bottom 4 all twice, and melbourne, and essendon (lol). Get a grip pal, you will ge what's coming to you tonight. Fool

seriously dont know what the hell they are doing with Waite. We are a long shot at winning the premiership this year, get him into surgery, get him right for a massive pre-season and ready from day 1 when the boys come back. Our premiership window opens up next year. Waite will give us no real service should he even come back in. Id rather go with Hampson than Waite.

I'm actually surprised at the lack of activity over there but I think it's because the media is giving us nothing about the final due to Fremantle stealing Lyon from the Saints.
Either that or, unlike you guys, we've had success in the last half decade and games like this aren't a novelty for us

Very baffling but the one thing I am picking up from the CFC over the last few days is an air of supreme confidence.
It's funny that when that feeling abounds that things just seem to happen.
I'm not saying it will end well, but optimism makes you do funny things.
It may have just been Waite's call here anyway, even considering how low the odds of his return may be, he is still willing to give it a shot.
If that's the case, good on him.

Waite has started well. On for a couple of minutes and hits Houlihan lace out who nails the goal. Seems to be moving really freely so far Waite. It is early on, though. I honestly can't make sense of why:
a) they are playing him OR
b) they called his season off.
He's actually looking really fit, just help set up another shot on goal for Houlihan as I type this.
