I really don't see the problem with the topic, mature people can talk about this and obviously some small minded people don't want to let us. The general talk boards are not going downhill with this thread, this is actually not a bad topic and Rohan had a good point.

I never saw the original thread (had my internet access at work cut again after "abusing the privilege" lol), but if it was what I think it was then (shock horror) I agree with Suzi.
Hypocritical I know considering I drink like a fish and swear like a drunken sailor, but there are standards of decency that should be maintained; and graphical details about that sort of thing would inevitably lead to legal disclaimers and people under 18 not being allowed to visit this board - and we'd lose some good posters if that happened.

Dont think its got anything to do with mature people or being to small minded, point is a lot of kids visit this site & discussing your private sexual habits with strangers on the net isnt suitable for an all age forum.

Also cant understand why people feel the need to discuss these things with strangers, seems a bit voyeurish to me.

There was no talk about people actually masturbating, Rohan asked why so many people are so precious about it, especially girls, there was nothing disgusting or offensive about it

No there wasn't really anything offensive to me personally, but you wouldn't talk about it in front of your 7 year old child/sibling/relative would you?

There's nothing to stop us talking about it on MSN, IRC, USENET, at the pub or wherever. Just not here. I've got enough people complaining on a daily basis.
