1) Do the Crows need to lose a game before the finals?

2) WHo would you least like to meet in the Grand Final IF you make it?

1) Possibly, that effort against Richmond did wake us up to a degree. It is amazing that we have lost only two games by less than a goal so far though.

2) Dont have one. Crows are good enough to beat anybody anywhere.

1) Do the Crows need to lose a game before the finals? No we do not need to lose a game before the finals begin. A professional tennis player has to win 7 best of five set games in a row before he can win the final, psychologically I thing NC is strong enough and has enough experience at winning over a long period of time to stop any complacency creeping into the player mindset.

If we make it (and that still a huge IF) I would love to play a West Coast or Collingwood. The hype around Melbourne if we played a Collingwood would be enormous.

In the real world I don’t really care who we play, as long as we make it.

1) No.

2) In order, the sides I would least like to face should we be lucky enough to make it to the GF - assuming the top 8 stays as is:

Melbourne.
St Kilda (assuming Kosi and Hamill are fit and playing).
Sydney.
West Coast.
Collingwood.
Western Bulldogs.
Freo.

1.No not saying we wont but if you are good enough physically and mentally then things should fall into place.

2.Port :D On a serious note If you start worrying about things like that then its all a waste of time really.

As long as you do every thing possible right leading up to the finals and then every thing correct if you get to the GF then it should all take care of its self

In 2002 Collingwood were no chance to win and almost pulled it of and in 2003 they were given a hughe chance and never in it.Never worry about the other mob just got to get your own back yard right

I wouldn't want to play Freo in a Grand Final because that would be a genuine 50/50. You have no idea which team will turn up for them! :p
Fremantle are the football equivelant of PMS.

1. No. Of the seven remaining rounds, Adelaide play five teams who are currently inside the eight. That should be pretty good preparation.

2. Firstly, Melbourne. They're in great form and I would regard an encounter with them on the MCG as no better than a 50-50 proposition.
Secondly, West Coast. The midfield pressure they are able to exert is the reason why they are the only team to have a legitimate claim to having the wood over us at this point in time.
Thirdly, St Kilda. But only if they are close to full strength.

I don't regard the other candidates as a serious threat.

Not sure about that comparison. One person in the field will win 7 matches in a row. There is no other possible outcome.

I dont think that complacency is the danger though. The unknown the Crows might have to deal with in the finals is if we find ourselves in a situation that we are unfamiliar with. Having to win from behind for instance. Or a massive brawl to start the game. We won't know for certain how our players will react until they are exposed to it.

But it's almost reverse logic - if we were playing poorly like WCE we would get to practice winning from behind. Because we are playing well we don't get that opportunity. Damned if you do...

1. No, I trust NC's ability in that regard to have the players raring to go for every game.

2. Melbourne and St Kilda with the Eagles a close 3rd. Melbourne are a dark horse and have a great spine with Carroll, Rivers, White, Neitz and Robinson, great midfielders, hard running, they would match up very well with the Crows.

Well it depends on how we lose.
An honourable loss that we can improve on then it dosnt matter, but to get spanked when we shouldnt of would not be good.

After last nights goings on on this forum I would like to meet west coast if we are good enough to make the GF.
