I think it would be good to use some higher numbers instead of always going for all the low numbers. Wouldn't it be cool to have players wearing high numbers such as 50, 99 and anything in between on a regular basis. Shaun Rehn made 52 his own and that number has it's own identity and individuality compared to typical numbers used. Wayne Carey could've reversed his old 18 and gone with an original 81. Anyway, I'd like to see players use higher numbers like some other sports do (NBA, NHL and NFL just to name a few).

Ok I realise this is not exactly important stuff but it is the offseason and there isn't a lot else going on at the moment.

Obviously Beinke's and Handby's service to the club was deemed to be of such importance that we decided to retire their numbers.
