Re: Social Club.

I think it's a fantastic idea and long overdue. Anyone know if the club is looking to push this more for after match events or if they want to put members of the club into a specific block of seats?

OK, every year a stack of you talk about maybe getting memberships but not having anyone to go with etc, then don't do anything about it....

SO, I'm organising you. Obvious exceptions aside, I think we can safely say everyone here's a passionate Eagles supporter, relatively knowledgable, and not psychopathic stalkers. You might think it weird to 'know' the people you sit with, but basically isn't arranging tickets together merely a way of ensuring you don't end up next to Frodo? (j/k) Anyway, if there's a block of seats you can change around & therefore avoid the person you had a go at during the preceding week.

Anyone interested, say so for crying out loud! Personally I've had my membership for over a decade, and wouldn't give it up for anything. It's the best thing you can do for yourself, and more importantly the boys. Organise it via PM if you want, I don't mind... just do it!

PS- got my renewal yesterday, no Social Club and no 18+ area, yet anyway. As per usual I'll end up renewing on cut-off day because I completely forgot.

I wasn't aware that there was any other reason for going to the footy.

I reckon barracking should be mandatory unless you've got a medical certificate saying otherwise.

Unless they've changed it from last year you will only get one footy for your referrals. Last year I had 4 referrals and was thinking we could divy them out but it was only per referer. After a million delays I eventually got the footy about July. But hey it's better than nothing!

This year me and my mates are referring another 5 between us (we already have the seats on hold). That way we hope to each get a footy this year!
