Pros:

- Home games against clubs with big supporter bases such as Richmond, Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn.

- Only 1 interstate trip in the first 9 games.

Cons:

- Travelling interstate 6 times, although one is a home game at the Gabba.

- Round 10 to 14: All matches against last years finalists and three interstate matches out of five.

- Round 22 Perth trip could hurt us if we play finals the next week.

- Thirteen Sunday matches and only two night matches.

Conclusion:

A tough draw, but if we are good enough we will make the Finals regardless. So I'm not going to complain, especially since we are hosting a number of 'big crowd' matches.

- 7 of the first 9 at the G, given a decent start we'll be able to sign up plenty of members.

- Only play Bris,Coll,Ess,Adel,Freo & Geel;) once.

If we're good enough we'll make it, no excuses!

Exactly. If any team is good enough to make the finals, they will make it regardless of the draw. I understand how clubs can be angry at the beginning of the season with the draw (us for example), but at the end of the yera it should not be an excuse whatsoever.

So, lets overcome this tough draw and show the rest of the country the true demon inside us!

We shouldn't be playing home games at Telstra Dome...we don't ask to play, don't need to play there and don't want to play there unless its an away game when we seem to be victorious more often then not!
