well obviously this isnt a thread overcome by SHC people because the conversation is a damn waste of time!! let me know when there are some hearts numbers among us and roodog posts something that i can pay out because hes hopeless and doesnt have a clue as he tried to play 3rd 18s the poor fellow

Typical Sacred Heart attitude isnt it? think that they are superior to others time and time again. I think you can see Flying Joey where i developed this theory that all, sorry most, sacred heart people are supercilious

im not doubting cheetham is a gun i'm having a stab at the second (third ;) ) rate school that he attends. How far has he gone with North?

Played his first game of 17s against sturt and did his collar bone in second quarter. Came back form injury and has been playing 17s since. What might hampen his draft chances is the season hes been having this year, as well as his lack of pace.

Please dont come on here and tell me how well Cheetham has played this season and how he got a BOG against saints 3rd 18s. ALthough that is one of his better achievments this season. Nah just kdding, a good natural mind for the game and he should be picked up later in the draft, maybe even rookie listed if he misses out

Let's end this argument, Cheetham is a very good footballer who broke his collarbone early in the year, otherwise would have probably played some U19 games for North like Wundtke. Ryan Roberts played for Modbury/Athelstone and was not amongst their best players in his age group. Mat Mylrea plays at Golden Grove and again not amongst their best players in age group. Whoever playing in Div 5 for Golden Grove does not make him a gun, have you ever seen that footy. Hitting a target means that after you get rid of the ball some thug hits you from behind. The best player to come out of Pedare is Brad Vassal, fringe Norwood League. Truth is that Gleeson and Pedare have both got some serious development to do before they even think of playing in first competition. Gleeson failed to beat RC seconds, who were not a patch on PAC or SH or ST Peters seconds. Every school will produce a good footballer every now and then, but give me a break with this thread. I hear that Cheetham might finish his schooling at a different school, same religion, 20 kms south. Music scholarship I hear.

i was there when Cheetham broke his collar bone, it was a sickening incident, i was about 20ms from it... truckrutten i wish i was as cool as you, who cares what grade of footy i attempted to play, ive never claimed to be a gun footballer....

hey roodog, what do u think north 17s chances are of doing well in finals??

i think they will win the grand final, at full strength they are the best under 17s team by a mile, not only do you guys have the players but you are extremely well coached too, i rate Dave Tiller as a person and as a coach. it was a tough year, you had so many different players play due to injuries through the grades and college commitments, but now with the exception of wundke you are at full strength? pity about the port bloke winning the goal kicking his an arrogant hog.

Almost back to full strength, with the exception of one player.

Did you know that 56 guys have pulled the North 17s jumper on this year?? pretty amazing

i knew it was a big number... south had similair sort of problems through out the middle of the year as well... i think you guys will beat them though, its on Sunday morning correct.

yeah dylann dunn loves himself a fair bit. good player and all but no need to talk yourself up as much as he does. :)

All fair points.

Two things though Colin:

1. Cheetham does not...and CAN NOT play a musical instrument and is 5 weeks away from finishing his year 12 schooling - why would he change? You are WRONG with this.

2. The argument, from my perspective, was never if WE OR Gleeson were great footy schools - I just wanted to discuss our development. THATS ALL!

ACTUALLY champ - he only played one game for Gleeson, against Pedare. Grudge match.

He will be drafted IMHO.

Guess it is all speculative - but the indicators are there?!!

bottom line is that u r digging urself into a hole that is getting deeper and deeper lica. I have never seen Cheetham play but if he had that much talent why didnt he go for a sporting scholarship at a 'more recognised' skool instead of wasting his school footy time in the 3rds league with the great Gleeson high. At least hes got his priorities sorted out. peace out.

Says it all.

yeh i have no idea if cheetam plays music, it was a poor attempt at starting a false rumour. sorry.

Who was the best players for North under 17's in the recent final against Port?

And who do they play this week?
