2nd tier in the Saints side is still 1st tier in most other teams in the AFL
Irrelevant of how you rate each player personally, they are still 2 premiership midfielders, plus Black, that would be an improvement in almost anyones books

I doubt Black would be a A grade Richmond player...

He wouldnt be in the League of; Richo, Cogs, Johnson, Brown, Bowden etc. more so, a 2nd teir player.

Freo in Melbourne is a 50/50

Both Schofield or Black are expendable and 2nd rate players.

Actually I think both are rather good. Scho I think will play ala Brodders in 2001 - impact player off the bench. Black & Carr will mix rather well with Haselby, Carr, Pavelich, etc. Sainters underutilised Black, we should have got involved there - not too sure he really wanted to go back to Perth, but didn't want to stay at Saints

I've heard the problem with Heath Black was:
He is a Melbourne boy so would be happy to stay in Melbourne but also happy to live in Perth.
His wife is from Perth so wants to live in Perth but would be unhappy to stay in Melbourne.

nah im pretty sure he's a melbourne boy. i know he firstly played at freo when he was drafted then came back home. i played with his younger brother and black came down to trainings to help us out before the finals. but this year at the sainters i dont think he gave it his best. he, knowing he wanted to go back to freo didnt put in his 100% he has got more and im sure we will see it at freo.

Really the 4th one is quite simple, so as per usual we didn't get much!

Requests get take more seriously the better the team does. Comming 16th we cannot really complain.

How many games do we actully play outside Melbourne? It isnt too bad :)

Also from that list I think we have at least 12 50/50 or very winnable games
Despite having received hardly any of our requests, we still have a pretty good draw

Rnd 1 - Vs Cats [MCG]: Lose.

Rnd 2 - Vs Hawks [MCG]: Win.

Rnd 3 - Vs Dogs [TD]: Win.

Rnd 4 - Vs Freo [MCG]:

Rnd 5 - Vs StKilda [TD]:

Rnd 6 - Vs Power [TD]:

Rnd 7 - Vs Carlton [MCG]:

I would have thought the Freo and Carlton game are about 50/50. At the start of the season I would give us little to no chance for the Saint and Port game. However, we must be some sort of chance againt both those sides for starts.

We could probably challenge St.Kilda if they are without Reiwoldt, Harvey, Koschitzke and Powell.

We've been hit pretty hard by injuries too, and lets not forget that our 2 wins weren't exactly against quality sides, so.

Freo..40% chance, mostly due to being at the 'G.
Saints 10%
Port 10%
Carlton 40% ( they seem very up and down..depends how they are that day ).
Colliwobbles 60% I really don't rate them this year, and our pace could be telling.

With a little luck I can see us 4-4 after 8, and if you'd told me that at the end of last year, I'd have been pretty happy.

we have a 60% chance against freo and I think we may be favourites by the time the game starts. 50% against undermanned saints, 50% against blues and 50% against undermanned port who dont play too well at telstra. I don't think those percentages are too generous if you know what our team is really capable of
