I'll take your word for it Bresh that we did alright. His stats i checked up on NBA.com look nice, but i have plenty of old cards of blokes with nice college stats who avg < 5ppg in the bigtime, so that means little to me.

Nah man Granger was a steal. Many had him going top 10, even top 7

Cool, sounds like Monfries (am i allowed to say that here?).

Pick 44 = Martynas Andriuskevicius for the Magic, very happy with that pick.

Korolev to the Clippers.

Bernie Bickerstaff - LAUGHING.

Terrific. Another white guy who will take 2 years to develop and who will then promptly leave after Year 3.

Looks like another lottery for my Clips coming up.
See you next year. Hopefully with a higher pick

Officially crushed.

Could not possibly be more ********ed. I'm out.

As A Celts Man I could not be more delighted. Another steal in the vein of Paul Pierce (aka pick 10) ?
Done well, the boys in green.

What are the options for kids out of college who didnt get drafted but still wanna play NBA?

Dont quiet see the sense in Atlanta getting Williams at 2. Sure he is extrmely talented but if there is one position the hawks dont need filled its the 3 spot. He may be able to play 4 but not for at least 3-4years.

Shouldve traded him to charlotte for 2 first rounders.

What do we reckon on Andray Blatche to the Wizards at pick 49?

I read somewhere that he is a poor mans Kevin Garnett. Won Jordan Classic MVP, at 7"0 PF has nice size. HE reminds me a bit of Chris Bosh.

Apparently Ryan Gomes (taking by Boston in the 2nd round, pick 50)
a 6-7 SF is a bit of a steal as well. Should make the roster for next season.

Houston officials have stated that once they saw Green fall past 6 they contacted 8 franchises to try and trade picks. They could not believe Green fell so late.

Overall I'm happy with Head at Houston, Rumours are flying around about a significant trade that would get a very handy PF to Houston which will help ease the rebounding pressure on Yao.

I think GeeCat's outlook on the Toronto/New Orleans trade might have changed a fraction :D

I'm as perplexed as the next guy, but will give Charlie, and subsequently Babcock, a go to prove a point. (Do it for me Charlie).

I can understand Graham at 16 (although would have personally prefered either Granger, Green, or Jack) and pleased with Roko.

Babcock's made me look the fool at the moment though.

And then you went on to trade him to Cavs for a future 2nd round pick.

Toldyou we'd go Euro.

We now have Luis Scola, Victor Sanikidze, Sergei Karaulov, Robertas Javtokas and Ian Mahinmi over in Europe. Soon we will take over the continent.

Although, Scola will come in this year.

I've been reading NJ were so high on Wright they came close to trading up the order to make sure they got him.

Ian Mahinmi dunk- http://www.premiumwanadoo.com/stb.com/videos/2005-STB-PBR-mahinmi.mpg

Preach that.

The Spurs continue to make a mockery of it all. So far ahead of the norm. A group of promising players taken late in the draft developing overseas (chosen by a certain genius, Sam Presti) whilst having a championship team on the court.

Giving Mahinmi first round money is a fair sign that they like him.

It would appear that Ian has gone to the Matthew Lloyd School of Jumping.

Who was the last Ian in the NBA?

Yeah very disappointed with that but I can understand the reasoning. He said there is no way he is going back to Europe for a few years, so basically if the Cavs want him to develop they need to chuck him on the bench, ala Darko. Got a bad feeling it will come back to hurt us.

You're crushed because a predicted top five pick didn't fall to 19 and you ended up with a kid you loved before draft (I think your exact words to me were "I'm going to cry when Hakim gets picked before 19).

Some people are hard to please, almost as big a backflip as me with Bobby Swift last year.

we dont have to worry now because we signed swift and yao should just be scorin now!! howard we should get rid of that dud!!
