Has fair claims to be known as the best player from this draft at this point in time. Probably the only one ahead of Rioli. Guys like Cotchin, Grimes etc may or may not overtake those guys.

Rioli was a ready made player in his first season.Ready made Taylor still not ahead of Rioli.
Cyril has been averageing 5 clearances a game since he moved into the midfield five weeks ago. Still kicking the goals too.
J Grant anyone?
I'll look in the mirror, but I would still take Grimes over himAnyone who suggests Cotchin is anything but two should go look in a mirror and see what someone with absolutely no idea looks like.

So what's your point?
Talls take longer to develop.
Deledio won the rising star award ahead of Franklin...
Taylor would be your best backman by a stretch and a walk up start for Hawthorn.
Would love him at CHB.
Taylor would be a great complement to Bower and Jamison plus our medium and small defenders.
Taylor doesn't have brain farts like Lake.

I think Taylor was a great fit for Geelong. Don't think he was right for any of the bottom rung teams though.
Taylor looks much better because of the team around him.
A good player is a good player. Taylor would be starting CHB for every team in the comp.
Not quite.
I wouldn't have him ahead of Frawley.
McPharlin's last two games opposed to Waite and Franklin were terrific. One of the few KPP with the speed and leap to keep up with these two.A good player is a good player. Taylor would be starting CHB for every team in the comp.
I am sure that Frawley could play FB while Taylor played CHB.

Wasting time.
Enforcer would never have a non-melbourne player ahead of a Melbourne player.
3: Dangerfield
13: Taylor
18: Ottens
20: Pears
Would have been much better in hindsight.
