Anyone want to have a crack at writing a bit of info on the lads that arent as well known out of SA? we all know about Hartlett and Johnston but what about the others? Particularly interested in the SS as i know most of the Draft Camp.
Heres the SS list feel free to add any info on the following players

Glen Dawson (Eagles)
Cameron Hitchcock (Glenelg)
Jack Redden (Glenelg)
Kriston Thompson (North)
Alex Stopp (Norwood)
Adam Eckermann (Sturt)
Scott Blesing (West)

Any help would be appretiated! CHEERS!

all worthy of ss is this the full list noticed Jay shannon not on either draft camp or ss bit surprising considering a lot of talk about him on this site and gets a mention in the phantom drafts good prospect i would think

Will anyone draft Jordan Dodman from North Adelaide? He is a big boy with a basketball background witht he 36ers and only 20 years old i think. He played in the under 18's for SA a cpl years ago.
I know him quite well as I grew up with him and would be good to see him drafted. Use to have a booming left foot kick when we went for a kick back in the day when he was 15/16.

Andy Reid (Sturt)
Patrick Fittock (Sturt)
Matthew Panos (Norwood)

Not from SA but play in SANFL
Charlie Sharples (Sturt)
Peter Rolfe (Souths)
dont know how to spell his last name but Guiliota(Souths)

All some chance of being picked up most likely as rookies but some chance to be on main list.

Can anyone write some info about these boys that are mentioned above though? just a quick few words about their strengths etc?

Glen Dawson: About 185-187cms, 75kgs? Mobile medium forward option, who has kicked a stack of goals in the U/19s for Eagles this year. Has also played a bit of SANFL Reserves football too. Glen has a fantastic leap and agility to compliment a nice pair of dukes. I'd imagine he'd be a difficult player to match up on, plays a bit like Brett Burton. Glen is a country lad from Balaklava however I'm not sure whether he lives in Adelaide now or not? He played the first game against Tasmania in the U/18 carnival however did not receive much game time, wearing the number 18?

Cameron Hitchcock: About 178-180 cms, 70kgs? Super quick and fit midfield/wing type who sneaks forward and kicks a few snags here and there. Another player with a good leap and agility. Loves borking. Skills are OK without being great. Played some good footy for Sacred Heart College and Glenelg U/19s. Also played Reserves football throughout the year.

Jack Redden: About 185-187 cms, 75-77kgs? Similar size to Dawson however he is a different player. Jack plays through the midfield and accumulates large amounts of the ball and uses it affectively most of the time by hand and foot. He is an inside mid who is very clean and composed around stoppages. He can also move forward to create/kick goals. He is the brother of Tom who was rookie listed to the Crows a couple of years ago. Another Sacred Heart College lad who played for Glenelg in the U/19's and Reserves. Also played S.A. U/18's against Vic Country and NSW/ACT wearing the number 36.

Kriston Thompson: About 180-182 cms, 80-82kgs? Quick outside mid who is very creative. Kriston is a smart footballer with good skills and a nice size. Has played some good football for North Adelaide Reserves and League this season. Kriston was a star for Prince Alfred College last season however he was struck down with Osteitis Pubis early on in the season. This indigenous lad Represented S.A. U/18s last year in the game against W.A. wearing the number 6.

Alex Stopp: About 190-192 cms, 85-87kgs? Running/rebounding CHF. Has had a fantastic season with the Redlegs in the Reserves this year featuring in the best players most weeks. Alex is a super fit key post player who held down CHB for S.A. U/18s this year. Alex represented Rostrevor College last year and was a strong contibuter in that side. His run off half back has set up many scoring opportunies for Norwood this season. Can lose his opponent on occassions however his fitness and speed for a big man usually makes up for it.

Adam Eckerman: About 182-184 cms, 79-81kgs? Inside midfielder with a solid build and nice skills. Real hard nut who does the small things to help his team. Adam is a different size to his brother who was a bit smaller. Cant be sure but I think Adam may have attended Unley High? Played some quality football for the Sturt Football Club in the U/19s but predominantly in the Reserves.

Scott Blesing: About 184-186 cms, 78-80kgs? Midfielder come backman. Scott possess fantastic all round skills especially by foot. His leadership potential was recognised and rewarded when he was named captain of the S.A. U/16 and U/18 teams respectively. Not overly quick or agile but certainly doesnt lack in these catagories either. A very solid, well rounded football player. Scott was also the captain of Westminster 1st XVIII last year.

Hope that helps Maddog, if you've got anyone else you wanna know about, let me know.

Cheers :thumbsu:

I thought Redden was a ruckman!!!!!!!!

Anyone got any info on Matthew Goldsworthy from the WWTFC?? Seemed to progress through the ranks this year and, from reading about him (nope - I've never seen him play) he sounds likely but I was wondering what observers out there thought?

Thanks in advance.
