I think both the top seeds will take out the title this year, although I'd like to see Nalbandian finally live up to his potential and take out a Grand Slam.

Anyone know when the draw is?

10AM British time on 20 June (Today). Probably about 9PM our time tonight.

No extra Aussie qualifiers (Gadjisova lost 3rd round in women's) so it's just Hewitt, Gooch, Dellacqua and Stosur (WC) in singles play.

Is it Nadal’s time to finally take home the Wimbledon trophy? One thing is for sure, he’s closer to winning Wimbledon than Federer is to winning the French Open. Nadal was close in 2006 and closer in 2007. In fact I firmly believe he would have won if not for a knee complaint which hindered his performance in the latter stages of the match. Only some big serving on the crucial points saw Federer escape with victory. Few would argue that Federer is on the decline, albeit slowly, whereas Nadal is continuously improving, especially on grass which is probably now his favorite surface behind his beloved clay. Djokovic is the only other man who is a realistic chance of reaching the final and I’m desperately hoping he is on Federer’s side of the draw to avoid Fed having another cruise to the final.

My dark horse, if you can classify him as that, is Mario Ancic who has been inconsistent since his return from illness but I think he’ll find his best form on the grass. Tomas Berdych struggles mentally and unfortunately is either hot or not however at his best he can cause some major damage. I’m a huge fan but I’m not such a fan of his inability to overcome adversity. If he brings his A game for the tournament he could and should go deep.

As for the women, new World #1 and Grand Slam champion Ana Ivanovic will be one of the favourites. However backing up from a long and arduous French Open campaign will be a tough ask. It may be the last thing I want to happen but Serena Williams is my tip for the title which would be her third Wimbledon triumph. Samantha Stosur has regained some of her best form as she is currently in the Semi Finals at Eastbourne, defeating some fine players along the way. My dark horse for the women’s title is Michaella Krajicek. She has been badly out of form this year as she has been playing terrible tennis and her record is 3-12. However she reached the Quarter Finals here last year and over the past few weeks she has regained some form. And I pumped up her tires at the French Open only to be let down but look out for 18 year old Sorana Cirstea who has massive potential.

Hewitt is gawn. Might vs Gonzalez in round 3 and faces Federer(or Monfils) in round 4. That is if they all make it that far. Horrible draw.

Djokovic on the same side of the draw as Federer! You beauty! Finally a test for the Fed ahead of the final, already can’t wait.

Baghdatis v Karlovic in the 3rd round; that will be an awesome match as they are two complete opposites. Lopez v Nalbandian is another potential 3rd round match which also promises quite a bit. The bottom half of the top half of the draw is loaded! Djokovic could have his work cut out for him just reaching the SF and if he does he’ll probably be weary for the big showdown.

Nadal has got an easy draw and he couldn’t have asked for anything more. He could possibly face Mikhail Youzhny in the 4th round which would be interesting as Nadal has tended to struggled against Youzhny. Murray’s a possible QF opponent but I just don’t think Murray will make it that far.

As far as the women's draw, Stosur has promising young Romanian Raluca Olaru first up and I think she’ll win, especially given her recent form. Dellacqua has veteran Patty Schnyder. Cirstea should win first up but will then face Azarenka who smashed her only a few weeks back at Roland Garros.

Ivanovic has a very good draw and will at the very least reach the Quarters. Her half of the draw is much weaker than the bottom half, no complaints here.

Hewitt is gawn. Might vs Gonzalez in round 3 and faces Federer(or Monfils) in round 4. That is if they all make it that far. Horrible draw.
Oh please. Gonzalez? He’s very ordinary on grass and Hewitt would be the favourite if they meet. His draw really isn’t that bad, sure he meets Federer in the 4th Round but as the 20th seed you don’t expect to get easy players beyond the round of 16. And no, he won't face Monfils, because he will get thumped by Federer, that's if he doesn't lose to the Gooch.

Pretty sure I saw an ad saying Fox were showing it from 9.00. Just checking it now.

Edit: Seems like the online EPG isn't loading for me. Ah well, guess I have to switch on the TV when I get home and check.
