He looked great IMO. Played a good rebounding game, and was named in the best. He only took 1 mark, but still scored 55 so thats a good sign. If he can take 2 or 3 more marks per game, that bumps him up to 60-65, which is what I expected. He is only priced at a 42 average remember.

He was on 20 at quarter time so that's not too bad. Can only increase his marks IMO.

Karkouer ran it out the backline probably 8-9 times.. they used him all the time back there.. and as far as not marking it A) he's not the type of players who takes marks from opposition kicks (ie harley or cornes)
and B) port dont chip the ball in there backline like sydeny the run in out in waves..
200K and will ave 90.
as for lucas he was slow, dropped marks and the game has passed him bye.. he cant chase and his man just exploited that.

An average of 90 might be a bit of a stretch, but if you're worrying about one of your 200k investments then I'd say you're doing pretty well already.
The expectations that people place on low priced players can be pretty unrealistic.
They're there to make money, and in some cases facilitate a straight swap for a gun.
When your mid pricers look like falling in value (like Reilly) then you should start to worry a bit (like me and any of the other poor souls that decided to pick him).

only one week, i thought krakouer looked good. Once we play a good side like Hawthorn in round 4, we may have to work the ball in backline trying to break through the cluster. hopefully he gets some marks.
The other thing that would really help him is when he does the kickouts he never kicks it to himself. I would love to see him kick it to himself, use his pace to run for 10-15m and then go long.

Can any swans fans tell me whats happening to Malceski this year?
From what I saw from tonights game he looks like he is playing half foward, occasionally pushing up onto the wing. Would most likely be scoring well if he was playing backline, do you think that is this a permanent move or is he going to move to the backline again?

I don't think I saw him near half-back once tonight.
It's worrying, as I bought him as a keeper. I think he'll get better as the year goes on, but an average of under 60 so far isn't good at all.

After kicking that first goal he basically played out of a pocket for the rest of the match which isnt going to help him average 85 for the year
yeah im also really stressed cuz you cant really trade him way too risky. 79% game time was more than i expected from that score. 0 DISPOSALS in last quarter is also not what i got him for. he aint gonna kick 3 goals very often and didnt get any tackles. seems like richards is playing his role instead of him. just gotta hope they move him to half back some time because he could be really costly.
..i hate backs.. the macleski's and mundy's...nothing like higgins and skippy

Nathan Bock has been charged with assault in Adelaide last night. Police and the club are investigating. Not sure if this will impact fantasy footy or not. Depends if the club issues him a suspension i guess.
