We won't come close to the flag next year, and think it's laughable how we're shorter favourites then Adelaide or North Melbourne ...

We shoiuld about the same price as Richmond and Essendon for the flag, I can't see how we actually deserve to be quoted shorter then them ?

North @ 35 dollars is pretty good value IMHO.

Gary Ablett has gone into the past two Brownlow Medals as favourite, but Betstar has him the leading contender for their early markets for 2009.

He is listed as $9, ahead of Lance Franklin and Chris Judd ($13), with Jimmy Bartel on $15 and this year's winner, Adam Cooney, on $19. Ben Cousins is listed at $34 if he gets the chance to resurrect his AFL career.

Sportingbet Australia has Ablett and Judd as $9 equal favourites to take out the 2009 Brownlow.

"Ablett has to be favourite for the Brownlow again as he has missed four games this year and still only just got beaten," Sullivan said.

We haven't made the finals in 7 years, and the fact is, we were blessed this year with a fairly easy draw (only played Tassie and Geelogn once) and we had a fairly good run with injuries for the most part throughout the season ...

We have an okay season (compared to the previous 6 or 7 years from hell) and all of a sudden all these fans are having delusions of grandeur ..

There is no logical reason to suggest we are going to make top 4 next year, people should stop writing shit, and actually be more 'realistic and honest' about the club's chances next year ..

You don't leap up from 10th possie, to the top 4 all in one year (in most cases)

In fact, I'm not even certain we'll make
