2 years.

3) Are you happy with your current club?
Very happy.

4) Which club do you dislike the most?
East Side Hawks.

5) SFA club most likely to merge/move/fold?
Would probably have to say the Mod Squad, there posting and activity is terrible, for obvious reasons though.

6) How long should the SFA season be?
I am happy with 21 rounds.

7) Do you believe your club will win a premiership in the next 3 years?
I think we definately have the potential and the players to win one, yes.

8) Who is your most respected player?
From Baghdad, definately SR.

From another team, EBIAC.

9) Which player do you love to hate the most?
I don't really hate anyone, but probably Kerrby.

10) If you could take any player in the SFA at the moment, who would it be and why?
EBIAC, have a lot of respect for him as a poster and as a player.

11) Who is the best current captain?
Ljp

12) Who is the worst current captain?
I don't think anyone really stands out that much.

13) What do you think of the standard of posting?
I think the quality of posting is great, but I think it could also be improved with more activity.

14) What do you think of the activity outside of the matches?
It has been getting better(Boncer), but I would still like to see an improve. i.e. Articles, Speculation etc.

15) When would you prefer the games to be played?
1 Friday Night
1 Saturday Afternoon
1 Saturday Night
1 Sunday Afternoon

But what ever is easier for Doggies is great.
16) Should the clubs be held responsible for the off field behaviour of players?
Yes, if the person is causing too much trouble and giving the club a bad name then get rid of them.

17) How many games do you look at each week?
All of them with interest.

18) Who is the best poster?
Okey has got this, quality of posting and quantity is superb. Also love the articles he writes.

19) Who is the worst poster?
Ummmm, I think this is Tarks. He tries hard but doesn't really get anywhere.

20) Which club is the most active?
Mt Buller, by far.

21) Which club is the least active?
Mod Squad.

22) Is the competition taken too serious, not enough or just fine?
I would like to see it taken a little more seriously, with more banter and rivalries etc.

23) Would you consider being traded in the near future?
Not at this stage, I am very happy where I am.

24) Are you happy with the way the Admins are running the league?
Yes.

25) Would you like to see more Representative style games organised?
I think the SoO could have been better organised. Is their an Interleague final or what?

26) What do you think of your posting?
I think that I am a good poster, I try to get my opinion in and support my team 100%.

27) Do you think the trade period should be extended?
Yes, 1 week in the middle of the season was not enough. 2 weeks would do IMO.

28) Who do you think are the best 5 players in the competition?

I would like to see 2 more teams included next year, I know there would be a lot of people in this league who would be interested in starting a new franchise and would be capable of this. If this is advertised on the site enough, the players would come rolling in.

30) What do you think the SFA could improve on?
Not too much, maybe just general activity outside of match threads.

31) Do you think you are a good poster?
Yes.

32) Which SFA player annoys you the most?
Ummm, I love him, but probably Boncer. His general attitude towards everything and everybody is always negative.

33) Would you make any changes to the pre season competition?
Probably make it a bit more structured, but it is fine the way it is.

34) Who do you think is the best current first year player?
Ummmm, I think tim saints has made a big impact.

35) Who do you think will win the Mobbenfuhrer Medal?
At this stage, probably TigerGlory.

36) Are there any changes you would make with the SFA?
Nope not too much, maybe try to expand and get more activity outside of match threads but that is pretty much it.

2 on saturday and 2 on sunday

I would like more teams but at this stage it's not possible as of the shortage of players, but if y6ou advertise it on the site it should be good.

Nope not too much, maybe try to expand and get more activity outside of match threads but that is pretty much it. Create a commitee that decides all of the awards and sfa team instead of leaving it up to the one admin

Very average. The sooner people understand that this place isn't supposed to be 'good write up', 'well played', 'you're a good player', the better.

Barring a sudden upswing in activity, then hell no. Should focus on getting teams posting a lot more first, and that's a long way away.

Wonders used to be pretty bad with their blatant idiocy although the Demons are coming to the fore with an excellent display of how to build up your team and then proceed to get pumped every week.

5) SFA club most likely to merge/move/fold?

Mod Squad. East Side Hawks seem to have lost interest also.

6) How long should the SFA season be?

Each team play each other twice, once at home and then once away followed by finals is an adequate length for eight teams. If team numbers drop lower then I would say each side should play each other three times.

7) Do you believe your club will win a premiership in the next 3 years?

Yes.

8) Who is your most respected player?

Kerrby's stupid but I don't hate him. I just think he has the intelligence of a mentally retarded pygmy rat.

Probably sausageroll. I bet he's regretting leaving the Dragons.

Not sure, I don't pay that much attention to the other team captains. I would have said wce_all_da_way but he's lost interest this season.

Whoever's leading the Demons, EBAIC I think. Fail.

13) What do you think of the standard of posting?

Meets the minimum requirements. Some teams have a lot of posters whilst some don't have many. Needs to be rectified so every club has a solid base of posters who post regularly.

14) What do you think of the activity outside of the matches?

Adequate at the moment. Needs to be sustained for the whole season though and not just patches.

15) When would you prefer the games to be played?

All four games on the Sunday Afternoon/Evening with Match of the Round being posted first suits me fine. Asking games to be posted on this night, then this night and then this day is unrealistic.

16) Should the clubs be held responsible for the off field behaviour of players?

Only on this board. If a player is being a d*ckhead then he should be told to pull his head in. All players should know that being an idiot on another board and then getting a red card doesn't help their club.

17) How many games do you look at each week?

Depends. For the first few games I only checked the Dragons games. Last few weeks I've checked every game because I've been doing the ladders but I was checking some games which I had an small interest in (mainly due to ladder positions).

18) Who is the best poster?

I'd say boncer34 at the moment. Has shaken up the board over the past few weeks and gotten under a few people's skin.

19) Who is the worst poster?

Not sure. There's some absolute drivel that comes from the Wonders and Demons clubs at times. Some of those blokes need a ****ing bib.

20) Which club is the most active?

Demons.

21) Which club is the least active?

Mod Squad. Half the players posted for about a week last year and haven't seen them since.

22) Is the competition taken too serious, not enough or just fine?

I think the seriousness aspect is about right at the moment.

23) Would you consider being traded in the near future?

No. No other club can afford me.

Yes. Doggies has done a pretty good job.

State of Origin is enough I think as everyone seems to hold SoO games in high regard. No-one gives a shit about playing another site, remember how the last inter-league series finished? I'm still waiting for the first quarter of game three.

Good.

No. No club wants to give an inch so why bother?

28) Who do you think are the best 5 players in the competition?

Don't really see enough of the other players. Sausageroll's probably having a good season though.

29) Do you think that there should be more teams included in the coming years?

No. Club posting needs to be consolidated in the short-term future before we start adding teams. There is at least one side who doesn't contribute a lot plus there's a couple of teams who could do with a few more posting players. If posting levels for all sides can be maintained at an adequate level then I would support adding more teams provided they can maintain the same amount of interest shown by the other sides.

30) What do you think the SFA could improve on?

Participation for one. A bit more sledging/banter would go a long way to making this a great comp rather than a good one.

Less shit posting by Demons players would be good as well.

31) Do you think you are a good poster?

Yep.

32) Which SFA player annoys you the most?

Generally stupid people annoy me.

33) Would you make any changes to the pre season competition?

Three practice games for each side would be good enough for me. Rubbish pre-season competitions don't excite me.

tim_saints has been pretty good. Zainta is also quite handy.

35) Who do you think will win the Mobbenfuhrer Medal?

Not sure. I really only look at my team's performance and not anyone else's. I only really notice opposition player games if they play really well.

15Petterd15 would be the smoky for the medal from what I've seen this season.

36) Are there any changes you would make with the SFA?

No drastic ones, everthing seems to be in the right spot at the moment. We may have to tweak a few things but I don't think there's much we can change bar posting/interest levels.

Might want to change the formatting of this questionnaire though dude, it's pretty ****in shithouse.

Try being realistic. There are few people that don't administrate or sim the competition that can truly claim that they understand the frustrations of running a competition like this, and how they are compounded exponentially when other posters show little consideration for the amount of time and effort that is spent making the league what it is. I know from experience that simply naming and changing teams each week can take into the region of up to about two hours depending on the extent of the changes, and the length of the threads that you'll be fighting your way through to find the post that actually concerns you of the potentially three hundred in the thread (that number's closer to 100 in this competition). Then you have to simulate and post each game, which is another half an hour roughly elasping. Then, if you're worth your salt, you'll be left to do extra work on the award presentations that'll no doubt occur at the end of a season. Then you generally have to establish the deadlines for the next week, create the threads, post the ladder and stats and generally keep the forum active.

It isn't a stroll on the park, and while it's an admirable aim to have one game posted during each of these timeslots, the amount of time forfeited to Fantasy Football alone is a restrictive enough factor, without having to worry about making sure they go up at a set date or time too. It's convenient for doggies to post them all at the same time, at least then the rounds out the way for him and he can concentrate on things that actually matter.

yer mate i totally understand what you mean when you say it isnt easy and is no stroll in the park i only meant it would be great to do if the SIMS could get around to it but from what your saying clearly the have better things to do on there weekends which i am all for and understand point taken tarks :thumbsu:
