Did Hodge get Skipper? I bloody hope so.
And no Pav or Goodes, life is almost good.

Well done cats!

What's that make for the last 4 years? 20? Must be a record for a 4 year period surely?

Congratulations to the Geelong boys who made the side, particularly Harry for making it for the first time. :thumbsu:

Have to laugh at all the people on the main board who are up in arms about Enright, Selwood and SJ getting selected. Some bright spark even suggested SJ hasn't been at his scintillating best this season. Nevermind the fact he's in career best form in terms of goals kicked for the season while having currently played 4 less games than his previous best season (2008). Reminds me a bit of 2007 when everyone was whinging about us getting 9 guys into the side, and we all know what happened a few days after AA night that year. ;)

Its weird that people are against Selwood and Enright being in. I tend to agree with the masses about Johnson though. not that he doesnt deserve to be AA to some extent, but I cant help but feel someone like Green who has similar stats has been alot more influential for his side.

Kelly unlucky. Was hoping he would make it.

It was very easy to pick the Geelong selections although Kelly would have been deserving.

The case for not picking Enright, Selwood or Johnson is non-existent.

Harry was the weakest of those picked but there was no stronger CHB option.

I probably would have had Kelly in over Enright, but I agree with the other picks.

No Hayes is baffling. There's always a few head scratchers.

Great job by the cats.

On a side note, did anyone see the pic of Judd and Twigs in the HS?
Is it just me or is she starting to look, umm, "horsey"?

Six is about right although I was abit surprised to see Kelly miss out and also a bit surprised to see Harry get a run, his form has certainly dropped off.

true but the first 14 or so weeks he was awesome and there is no real stronger option at CHB this year. I wasnt surprised by Taylor at all.

Harry was superb for most of the year. Short memories.

Harry > Frawley

Well Jimmeh should be there too.

Found it strange when Mike asked Gerard On the Couch last night how they managed to leave Jimmy out of the squad of 40 and Gerard said "Jimmy had a great start to the year but he went quite for a few games after he injured his elbow"

Wonder if Jimmy missed 5 games like Buddy instead of suiting up for the team if he would have at least made the squad of 40?

Thats good though, it means that Jimmy flies under the radar of other clubs when he can be a bloody damaging matchwinner!!

Can guarantee he doesnt fly under the radar at all. No coach really cares about the AA when it comes to working out ways to stop the opposition. Its not like Eade is going to think, "Well, Hayes didn't get AA, I dont have to worry about him! Hohohoho." (I dont know why he is hoho'ing, I can just imagine it.)

Hayes might go "Hohoho" if Eade doesn't worry about him, as he'd think all his Christmases had come at once. :p
