The reason you didn't trade him IMHO is because you were sweating on getting Comp Pick 2 :cool:

Anyway, regarding this process, Elite Pete managed his list well enough to afford Rioli, Roys didn't. Simple ;)

"These players will also be the opposite of other players in terms of tradability - they will be untradeable until a bid is won (and Launceston will automatically make an inactive minimum bid on each selected player whenever opposition bidding opens), and tradeable after a bid is won."

Whilst its my fault and i take full responsibility and its russians game so i'm not going to challenge hes verdict or anything but what you just wrote is garbage.
Yes i did reject your offer because frankly it was insulting and losing him for nothing probably isn't all that much worse for me.
I put myself in a whole but some of the offers i got following this were insulting and again i don't blame you guys for doing that but don't insult me with this crap that i had the chance to get under the cap.

Ok perhaps I was a bit harsh in my wording. What I wasn't ok with is the fact that you said you'd rather lose him for nothing than do one of these deals. I think this means you should lose him for nothing (ie. The pick 70 odd). The fact that you're getting compensated with a first round pick for going over the cap isn't a harsh enough penalty for me. There's every chance that you could be getting a cheaper player who can average as much or more than the player you're losing in a couple of seasons. With a developing list it almost becomes like staying over the cap was beneficial for you. Anyway, this is the last I will say on the matter as it is not my decision to make. I'm sorry if I offended you with my earlier comments.

Loopy you wanted Ward, Cunnington, Compo pick 1 and Beams and you were not giving me much in return. I fail to see how that could of possibly helped me at all and i said losing Rioli for a cut price is less fatal or an average list then trading away 4 of my best players.
