Cant help comparing him to Josh Hunt from Geelong ......wont surprise if he ends up playing a similar role in defense

Don't think Josh Hunt is the quickest going around as well .......Grigg taking kick-ins could be a real asset

He moved very quickly when there was a bit of crumpet on the end of it, WW, according to his now ex-girlfriend in that infamous email that has now gone viral. :D

Bit mannish for mine;

PS - That's Hunt on the left, her on the right.

Link, please ...

Grigg is the steal of the draft for mine. Absolute gun. Slid only due to his pace ‘issue’ which really doesn’t hold him back at all, as highlighted by his MVP effort in the U18s. It’s about as big a pace issue as Jobe Watson’s or Greg Williams. Great get.

Although I too like debating the manlyness of ladies, I sure this started off as the Mitch Grigg thread? Any chance of someone talking about this MANLY young lad??!;)

This is our most ordinary batch of kids on paper I have seen us recruit for years... All have some serious question marks about them...

I'll have what you're smoking..

Crouch is an elite talent, Brown Rendell has said the same.
Kerridge looks very impressive physically and looks ready to go. Grigg has elite kick which is great for a team that lacks foot skills. If used correctly could be a star. I don't remember Stuey Dew being overly quick. Joyce looks a hidden gem who could become a regular sooner rather than later. And Curly has more potential than any of the above. Will be a gun, always dominated juniors and will be very hard to match up on. Think weve got a great steal with him. Overall, very happy with our draft. Our list is looking very nice right now. Another key back next year and top four should be minimum in about four years time.

From the draft mate not the trade period.... It is very easy to get carried away like you are with players on paper.... It was the most compromised draft ever and you think we have recruited a group of All- Australians with our first pick in the late twenties?... I rate Rendell highly but even he isnt frothing at the mouth with excitement like in years past...
I think Grigg is most likely but to quote Rendell he asked Sando " do you want to recruit a guy who is slow but has elite foot skills and can get the ball?...

Hardly a comment to fill me with confidence.... All clubs are in the same boat.. I am not saying we did horrible, but it was a seriously compromised draft of which we did as well as we could... But you need to get out more if you are seriously excited about this batch of kids

I'm with you. No one can expect this to be our best draft batch ever - it was a really crap draft with lots and lots of players taken out of it.

Brad Crouch we can obviously be excited about, Brown and Kerridge should be OK, Grigg could go either way and the other two I honestly don't expect to play a game...

See how we go.
