I know it's early to start but I was putting some dates from this years membership thread & thought I might as well start it now.

These numbers are taken from the MFC website so they will reflect the numbers in relation to when the website was updated.

We have quite a few dates to use for comparison, so it should give us a good indication how memberships are going compared to 2010.

If you have any other figures feel free to add them also & I'll incorporate them into this post. I would also like to include the last few years’ annual membership totals for reference, so if anyone has them please post them & I will add them also.

Hopefully we will have more people jumping onboard for 2011 with the prospect of playing finals and not less people because the urgency is gone since the successful debt-demolition.

My membership just ticks over every year so thats atleast 1.

But while we are on the subject of memberships, I've just got an 11 game membership atm. I go to most home games and the occasional away game (in vic). Is it worth getting a reserve seating membership next year? What do you guys get?

I predict our membership base will be around the same. I'd be very happy if we gained 1000.

I've had a standard home game membership for the last five years or so, until I upgraded and bought a Trident membership for 2010 - absolutely brilliant decision for mine. Padded, reserved seat on the level 2A flank of the Olympic Stand. Only problem was they're bloody expensive, at about $300 for a concession membership.

$300 for concession must convert to a hefty fee.

Lucky bugger. Does it give access to finals as well or do you have to pay extra? if you do have to pay extra do you still sit in the same area?

On a Uni budget, yep.

The Trident membership guarantees a GF ticket if Melbourne play, so I'd assume that would extend to tickets in the first three weeks as well. As for where exactly you'd seat, and the extra cost, I'm not sure to be honest.

At any rate, hopefully I'll get a chance to find out next season :)

I renewed mine yesterday - 7th year for me.

Presumably interstate members count towards that tally yeah?

Geez seated memberships are so cheap compared to the ridiculous prices here.

I just upgraded to the Trident 16 game membership. I feel all fancy. Maybe I will go to the snow once or twice after all.

Great news; I was on hold for about a minute. That’s never happened and I as an optimist take it as a good sign (Or budget cuts).
