Re: Round 6 Trades

Lots of un-answered Petrie queries on this thread.
Ive missed the first pay hike but it worth jumping on him, (for Richardson) I would imagine Petrie would be a little more consistent and reliable then my current rookie forwards of Darling, Matera, C Dixon, Mckernan, Prestia. Hate making the mistake of which one to start each week. besides Richardson they all have $$ to make.

Also lots of doubts about McCauley's JS, however he will rise this week.. as opposed to my current R4 Derickx.. who I haven't heard anything about since the pre-season hype.. Not sure if i should waste a trade here, as rucks are solid with Cox,Sandi and Z Smith..

Any thoughts??

Should be back playing in about 2-3 weeks, just came back from injury and has played 2 games for Coburg, he will get games soon as he was in line for making a Round1 Debut.

My issue is with Otten/Knights and Krakouer, I have no idea if I should hold onto them and try and squeeze out some more $ or if I should start trading them off for Premiums.

Re: Round 6 Trades

otten and krakour been disappointing so far. however still potential to go up. thoughts on a straight trade with luke thompson for otten? will he get many games looking forward or tough it out with both otten and krak to see if they go up a little more and save a trade?

was thinking:

otten out - thompson in
krakour out - o'keefe in

Re: Round 6 Trades

I think Krak just isn't gonna get enough on field time in the coming weeks, despite his early form. And since playing=points=price rise I'm gonna punt Krak and grab J Roo while he's cheap I think.

Re: Round 6 Trades

Going for league win and have 256,000 on bank and planning to upgrade Robbie tarrant (200,000) who decreased in value this week an doesn't look like he will be increasing anytime soon. Is it too late to jump on Jed adcock??? Still low BE and has had one bye and shares the multiteam by next time round. Can't afford enright and with his bye in the finals and as I have already used a few trades I'm
Hopeing I can pick someone who will hopefully remain a premium, can adcock sustain his 100+ average??

I can't see him avging over 100 when drumo comes into the team

Re: Round 6 Trades

otten out - thompson in

Thompson is listed as injured and requiring a test this week on the herald sun site.

It’s possible Drummond will cut into his scores, but it’s also possible that having Drummond back will allow Voss to throw Adcock into the midfield more.

Re: Round 6 Trades

A promising note was that Adcock lined up in the midfield on a number of centre bounces against the Saints... Doesn't mean I'm getting him in though, I'm hanging out for Drummond to return. :)

Re: Round 6 Trades

Yarran is probably 30-70 to play. 6 day turnaround, Tuohy elevated off the rookie list, and a bye coming up also.

His low score Sat night gives him a 100 breakeven. SCG is never a place for huge scores for outside mids either.

Will probably trade him back in in 4 weeks time.

Re: Round 6 Trades

I'm considering...

Round 6 Knights > Markovic
Round 7 Krakouer > Fyfe

The first one obviously is to free cash for Fyfe.

Could also...

Round 6 Knights >Sumney, Johnson or any 100-120K forward thats selected
Round 7 Krakouer > Boyd

OR lol no downgrading

Krakouer > Sylvia

My Cash league is my priority, So very Keen for Freo, Swan and Demon players, Collingwood after Round 13 which will be Boak > Pendlebury unless I can downgrade/upgrade and keep Boak.

I could also downgrade a DEF like Otten, Duigan to free up cash, But I think Knights is closest to his maximum price.

Thoughts?

Re: Round 6 Trades

Knights seems to be a terrible Supercoach player compared to DT, but with a breakeven of about 60 odd, I think you could still get two weeks out of him before his best price.

It depends who you're thinking of bringing in.

In my case Fyfe is expected to rise around 40k after round 7. Knights 20k if he holds the average. And one of my downgrade options Markovic 35k. I want to do it this round in terms of the downgrade and Markovic is expected a rise of almost 20k with Knights almost 10. So if I want Fyfe I have to get rid of Knights now. Were if your upgrade target is expected to drop then you hold it off. Obviously if I go with Sylvia I have to tonight, but I'm leaning towards bringing in Fyfe.

What are peoples thoughts on Didak? will he improve? should i keep him or trade him now before he drops to much in price! So hard

Re: Round 6 Trades

He's not getting 130 this week. Time to trade.

Looking to buy, I'd think around round 9/10.

IMO you may have missed the fyfe train, due to how much he has risen in price it will be a risk picking him up now, but if you think he will maintain his avg then go for it, thankfully I had him from the start lol. I would be tempted to go krakour > sylvia, he's also a DPP so your not losing that and he will consistenly pump out 100+ scores IMO, spending more time in the midfield this year is pretty tasty:thumbsu:

I'm in the same boat as most on here, I have krak and knights in the fwd line but will probably only get rid of 1 for JRoo most likely, but which 1?

Ive still got a fair bit of cash to be made having Duigan(may need to cash in soon?), lower, B.smith, Stanley, Batchelor, Curnow, Harris, Savage(will downgrade next week), Bewick(time to go????), Z.Smith, Matera, Tappy and Darling.

So my questions.

1. should I bring in JRoo for knights or krakour??
2. I have dericx on my bench, should i keep or > mcauley
3. when I get rid of knights or krakour this week, should I get the other or pull the trigger on both??

currently sitting around the 5000 mark

B: gibbs, goddard, broughton, grimes, heppel, duigan, lower(B.smith, stanley, batchelor)

M: swan, pendles, mitchell, selwood, cotchin, curnow(savage, harris, bewick)

R: cox, warnock(smith, dericx)

F: franklin, fyfe, goodes, roo, sylvia, krakour, knights(tapscott, matera, darling)

Any advice for this week would be great, cheers:thumbsu:

Knights has better job security and isn’t getting subbed like Kraks, so I’d go Kraks to J.Roo. Alternatively you can downgrade Knights to a rookie and upgrade kraks to a more consistent gun. Wouldnt bother with McCauly, he might not hold his spot when brown gets back and people are saying dericx is on the come back trail. Nice side by the way.

Re: Round 6 Trades

M.Murphy or Montagna?
Only reason i'm swaying to Montagna is because of Carlton's bye in the League finals.

He will drop under 400K this week but id hold onto him. It's a long season and he has too much quality to waste a trade. And with the amount of cash cows this year and the extent they are rising you could probably still bring in whoever you though to replace him with in a few weeks. Especially since Collingwood are done with byes after round 13

With Sylvia I got to do it tonight, with Fyfe i can wait a week. From a league perspective I like Freo and Demon players, especially with Freo their next bye is also when there is no league games, and in my money league I'm behind the 8 ball badly (13th on 0 points yet 3rd overall 100 pts behind the leader) add to that Swan players and maybe suggest someone else from there? I have Goodes.

With you I would get rid of Knights. He will hardly rise anything and JROO has a small b/e of 27. He will rise more than Knights, Krak wont drop and he can wait a bit

Yeah he should bottom out around 370-380, I plan on jumping on him at that point.

Re: Round 6 Trades

need to upgrade krakour to avoid a doughnut and he is in my fwd line and I dont have mpp.

thinking about going hurn (not happy with his output anyway and have plenty cover) to a downgrade target so I can get Goodes.

Thinking my options are thompson from adelaide with low gs or pederson or hibberd?

who will most likely play out of pederson or hibberd?
