I've heard that North are into Lonergan. Don't forget that they missed out on Caddy, so they obviously don't feel they have too many "big bodied inside mids" yet and he would actually bring that speed that some of those they already have (and Caddy, for that matter) lack.

I don't think we have the lack of outside run which seems to be the misconception about us, our running game gave a lot of teams problems this season. If anything, it is our defensive and stoppage work that is our weakness.

If the right kind of player falls at the right pick then sure, have a look at him, but I wouldn't pass up a very good midfielder who could be a great midfielder to take an inferior outside player.

Yeah you guys were easily one of the better running teams I saw this year, so Lonergan would probably only enhance that, while also adding the big, strong body and contested ball winning ability on the inside, plus some really good tackling.

If i'm not mistaken, I read something today that had SOS saying that they'll tell the players they're going to draft on Thursday afternoon. I see no reason why he'd lie about that
