WTF is X factor? Can you explain please?
But Vlastuin is a very mature body too. Hard to see him changing his body type. Playing against kids as yet not fully developed

That's true, but I believe it will be a lot easier for Vlastuin to adjust to AFL than it will be for Grundy.Yeah although only having played footy for 2-3 years I'd say reaching league footy level plus AA Under 18 ruckman twice is a fantastic achievement and can only see him getting better.

And you don't see this in Vlastuin? I do. This is exactly what I see in Vlasutuin. The sort of person who is so hard, and competitive, that when the game is on the line, he'll drag his team over the line. A natural leader. Maybe not "flashy", but if the above is your definition of X Factor, then I reckon Vlastuin has it, absolutely.when the game is in the balance may well step up and doing something special.
not really because more space coming out from the backline, same reason backs get a lot of stats
Agree and consistently do it. Not once a month. And you don't see this in Vlastuin? I do. This is exactly what I see in Vlasutuin. Yep. Luke Hodge doesn't have X Factor. And he's no mid. But I'd still probably be able to find a spot for him in our side. And you don't see this in Vlastuin? I do. They're not taking Grundy.@SamLandsberger: A mountain of home-grown talent available, but Port will tonight meet a star Vic kid at his house. Most likely just as a back-up for pick 7.
Wines?
Doesn't sound like they're picking Grundy

Like a Dustin Martin, or a Brett Deledio, or a Trent Cotchin, or a Jack Reiwoldt??already explained it in an earlier post
vlas = serviceable. worthy. hardworking and reliable
z factor= something different. matchwinner. can be a high risk at times, can go missing. when the game is in the balance may well step up and doing something special. I can go on but I think you may understand. we could label certain players.
gerard healy stated on 3aw tonight according to whispers that gws have already told whitfield plowman and orourke they will be picked 1 2 and 3 in the draft interesting heyLike a Dustin Martin, or a Brett Deledio, or a Trent Cotchin, or a Jack Reiwoldt??
So tell me, what happens when Tuck retires, and Foley retires and these X factors have to become accountable?
I would love Richmond to become the first Harlem Globetrotter AFL side, it would be soooo exciting and really fun to watch... Non stop thrills every minute.... Except disciplined, hard working contested teams would bugger us into submission.
Watch the NBA if you want oohs and ahhs.
I'd rather watch Richmond smash teams and break their spirit with tough, uncompromising footy.
Give me a tough guy in the trenches any day, we've already got the cream.
I couldn't disagree with this comment moreYep. Luke Hodge doesn't have X Factor. And he's no mid. But I'd still probably be able to find a spot for him in our side.
Surely the Dogs wouldnt go Menzel and Stringer@SamLandsberger: A mountain of home-grown talent available, but Port will tonight meet a star Vic kid at his house. Most likely just as a back-up for pick 7.

Not sure what you're getting at guru...gerard healy stated on 3aw tonight according to whispers that gws have already told whitfield plowman and orourke they will be picked 1 2 and 3 in the draft interesting hey
I think that was the point he was making... Likening the way Vlastuin goes about it to Hodge, for those saying because he doesn't have electric pace, he doesn't have X factor. That was my take on it, anywayI couldn't disagree with this comment more
Luke hodge has no xfactor ? And can't play as a genuine mid ?
You must be talking about someone else because a fit hodge is all that and more

Not sure what you're getting at guru...
But that would shuffle the deck a bit, maybe Toumpas is the slider? Mcrea? Grundy?
For those concerned about taking Vlastuin and just what he brings to the table.
TAC Stats:
10 games
112 kicks(61% efficiency) 70 handballs(63% efficiency) 44 marks 6CM 65 tackles 50 handball receives
Averages: 11.2 kicks 7 handballs 18.2 disposals 61% efficiency 4.4 marks 6.5 tackles 5 handball receives.
Handy numbers for someone who played HBF most of the year and was carrying an injury as well.
His 2 best games for the year were a 30 disposal 8 marks 4 tackles 1.2 game against Geelong and a 29 disposal 9 marks 12 tackles 2 goal effort against Gippsland. Reckon that puts to rest that he has no star factor.

Toumpas won't get past the Dees unfortunately. If Vlastuin is taken by Port at 7, then I'm pretty sure that Wines will be a Tiger. Grundy pick 14 to GWS is likely. Macrae to the Blues is something I've heard too.

Atleast we are starting to hear some rumors.Oh the possibilities. Na then they will want MacraeSo if no Vlastuin available, surely those advocating him would be ok with Grundy?
Reckon Lions could take Wines

what im getting at is that is the rumour according to healys main source whispers who is usually very accurate certainly will shuffle the deck chairs which is goodNot sure what you're getting at guru...
