Been posting here since 2007 and all on just the one account as well, haven't felt the need to use 20 accounts/teams to post rubbish like some.

Please point out the rubbish

The only reason for new accounts is due to red cards and not being able to post under that name.

I must say im glad to have James around. However hes probably got more guts then most. Nothing worst then someone criticizing others trades when they don't post their own

James could easily be like most others on this forum and hide what hes doing so he doesn't cop shit. That would be the easy way out.

James, I'm sorry if you feel that I have specifically targetted you to illicit an emotional response. All I have done today is corrected you on two issues where you are clearly wrong.
1. Waiting a week to trade Orren to Jenkins to save cash and not recognising that Jenkins is on the bubble as well.
2. Constant whinging about losing Eliminator due to making Murphy captain over Ziebell and not understanding captains' score calculations.

On the other hand, the constant references and threats of a red card have made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed on this public forum. IMO this is actually a reportable offence so please desist from this action.

1) Your half arsed apology is accepted.
2) It's not just your trolling/stalking my every post from today, but your accumulative trolling over the last month or two. Pull your head in!
3) Pointing out that you can be red carded for trolling/stalking is not a reportable offence.

1. I'm glad.
2. Please stop making posts that are clearly incorrect and you won't be as upset when people point them out. Pull your head in!
3. Who knows what is reportable anymore. Apparantly just telling someone that they're clearly wrong is reportable nowadays.

Lost my Eliminator by 137 to a guy ranked 90k
1937 - 2074

Murphy's 54 Captain score didn't help.

You lost, what is the point of you being in this thread any longer. DT is a ***** sometimes (or all the time for some).

On topic, I got an easy win since my opponent had Smith, Bugg, Murphy and Smedts.

Yep you could verse someone who hasnt planned for byes and you play them in R11 cop a few zero's and they only have R12 and 13 premiums, you would get smacked. Same goes for the other byes.

I will only have 4-5 trades left after the byes but will likely have 23-24 keepers aswell.

Oh yeah, I won my match 2255 to 2208 by the way...

How much people are left now?

Sorry had to have a smile thinking that you should have written

How many people are left now? (Had a giggle thinking I could get carded)

But we shall move on for everyones sake.

Think if I am still in eliminator after round 11 I might be tempted to do some sideways trades to try and stay in, otherwise I shall just go ahead with normal trade plans.

16k left im pretty sure.

If i can get through till the bye rounds i think im a pretty good chance of getting through those rounds with my planning if i dont come up against someone with just R12/13 players or the like.

Going into R14 (After byes) there will only be around 500 left.

After round 13 we will be down to the last 1000.

Gets to final 16 @ around round 20. If you last that long, anyone's a chance.

Has anyone ever won overall + eliminator in the same season?

That's not what I was saying. Murphy should have been good for at least 89 x 2 (based on his average and previous record vs Adelaide) had he not got injured early. So YES, it was a close loss based on Murphy's injury and score of 54 as captain.

Not getting involved in this whole stalking thing, but you would have still lost by around 100 points had Murphy got 89 x2.

That's not really a 'close' loss.

Nope. IMO to win Eliminator it's important to have trades on hand towards the end of the year, so its more similar to a league win strategy where your matches at the end of the year is harder than at the start.

For overall the points you score at the start is the same as at the end, therefore it favours going harder earlier with trades and then trying to hold on. The only overall winner that may have been a chance at Eliminator as was Peckin Away (but that year there was no eliminator from memory) as he won coming home strongly with lots of trades.

How many Eliminator's have you won?
