Magner and Couch both in my team. Magner will average 80+ and Couch should average at least 70.

Both look great gets don't they. The only downside I see with Magner is his low disposal efficiency so far in the preseason (but 50-60% I believe). The new supercoach scoring system will penalise ineffective disposal more this season.

That said - cash cow ahoy all the same ey?

7-10 clearances a game will make up for it.

Any news on Luke Brown?? Only a couple months back I was being told he would play most games and a near certainty to start, haven't seen or heard anything of him since...

Thoughts on selecting both Coniglio and Wingard in the same team? Should I get one and Koby Stevens instead?

Any news on Shiels and Treloar? They still havn't been named and look unlikely at this stage to be selected in rd 1.

I know he had a delayed start because he got king hit in a pub over the pre season. But Adelaide said last week he would most likely play in the NAB cup this weekend, which obviously hasn't happened.

Starting to get concerned, really want to see what he can do.

Maybe an ugrade Marty Clark for job security might be a smart move.

I want Brown for his MPP status. Even so given the way Yagmoor played, Marty Clarke might not be as secure as we think.

A bit more expensive than a rookie, but Cripps only played as sub for a few games last year.
He looked very good rebounding out of the backline against Geelong ( round 1 NAB ) and I'll be watching him for his last couple of NAB cup games to see if he looks like starting round 1 there. Listed as a forward for SC, I see him getting far more consistant scores running out of the back than a proper small forward rookie.

This is going to sound a bit harsh but i hope they both injured to the point where they miss 6-8 or even 10 weeks. if they miss 2 weeks and are right to go at round 3-4 they are pretty useless unless you've screwed up another rookie pick and want out since none of the cows that made your starting 22 will be ready to cash in.

Either that or not injured at all!

Mature-age rookie James Magner remains on track for a possible round one call-up, despite suffering a finger injury against Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Still a chance.
