Vote for the 9 teams you think will win.

I'm interested to see how the poll will reflect the odds as they are released in a few months.

Post your full predictions as well:

Winner v Loser, margin, crowd (optional)

GWS v Sydney, 80
Carlton v Richmond, 129
Hawthorn v Collingwood, 1
Melbourne v Brisbane, 12
GCS v Adelaide, 30
Fremantle v Geelong, 8
NMFC
v Essendon, 12
WB v WC, 1
Port v St.Kilda, 67

Notable Results:

Syd (150 pts)
- GWS will be worse than GCS of 2011. Going to get ugly. Records will be set in 2012.

Carlton (140 pts)
- Carlton to come out angry and firing after being embarrassed in Rd 1 2011. (only beating them by 5 goals)

Hawthorn (1pt)
- Game of the Round. Hawks to pip them in a classic.

Brisbane (30pts)
- Brisbane to be the bolter team in 2012. J.Brown back to his best. Black to lead the young talent to provide a decent midfield. Defence is strong.

St.Kilda (80pts) - Port will improve, but with Lenny back, and the club standing resolute to keep it's stars, the Saints will have one final tilt at the flag. No scandal-bullshit to drastically improve the team's focus in 2012.

Carlton by 129 and 140 points??

God I hope not

Haha just a gut feel that the Blues will be angry to avenge last year's embarrassment.

All things being equal it should be a much closer game than a 3-figure blowout. The gap has closed and on talent we're only a 10-goal better side now.

GWS v Sydney - 139
Carlton v Richmond - 31
Hawthorn v Collingwood - 21
Melbourne v Brisbane - 46
GCS v Adelaide - 4
Fremantle v Geelong - 12
NMFC v Essendon - 19
WB v WC - 29
Port v St.Kilda - 5

The first two games are the only ones that look like certainties atm. Hard to tip (margins especially) without knowing injuries.

GWS will get malued.
Carlton should be about 5-10 goals better. On a good day more, on a bad day less.

All the rest could go either way.

Getting side tracked, but is this an alter ego? Not only have you selected the same teams by the similar margins but your comment about Carlton's "embarrassment" last year seems a little bit too similar, especially when 15 other games resulted in that "embarrassment".

Sydney to destroy GWS. Tigers to pull of a huge upset in the game of the round in front of 82K. Collingwood to start their 2012 campaign in impressive fashion, accounting for fellow contenders Hawthorn quite comfortably. Melbourne to show why they are finals contenders. Adelaide to win. Fremantle to defeat Geelong in a thriller. Essendon to pull away from North in the end after a close and entertaining three quarters. West Coast to open their season with a comfortable win over Bulldogs and Port to announce that they are no easy beats with a close loss to St Kilda.

So Carlton supporters, don't say I didnt warn you. :D

Im predicting a loss for the Cats first up, reckon they might start a tad slower next year and ease into the season, that and i think the Dockers will really set themselves for it, Cats will still finish top 2 though.

Pies V Hawks, could go either way, should be close though.

Blues to smash the Tiges.

Dee's to have a solid win over the Lions.

Crows to have a comfortable win against the GC.

Sydney to break the all time scoring record against WS.

Dons to good for North.

Eagles comfortably over the Dogs.

Saints big winners over Port.

Essendon often come out of the blocks quickly where North have been slow starters for a bit. I see this changing both ways this season - North guys bursting out of the box and Essendon being a bit flat without the Hirdy hype factor.

Lindsay Thomas to kick 7.
