You would think I have the upper hand but it is going to be a close one. I hope SJ is not a late withdrawal but at least it is nice to know that my emergency (Macaffer) scored well.
 
Mine should be very close. I'm happy with our respective starts. He had Pendlebury (only 95) and I had Dwyer (65), we both had Swan, so he would have been wanting to be up by more than that with a premium v rookie.

Johnson v Bartel
Priddis v Hartlett
Scooter v Zorko
Mayes v M.Jones
Birchall v Gibbs
Moloney v Martin
Goldstein v Franklin

Both have GAJ (C).

Scooter and Priddis v GWS is a big advantage for me, while he has Hartlett v Geelong who should restrict his scoring hopefully by chucking someone like Stokes on him.

Our current projected scores are both 2130 after last night.

Birchall, Evans + 125
vs
Mitchell + Franklin

It should be a comfortable win for me on paper but why am I paranoid that Birchall will be a late withdrawal and I'll be left with Thurlow's 29 and/or Evans will don the subs vest for the first time this season? If Birchall can just score 80 I should have it won almost regardless of what else happens but jeez I'm nervous!

GAJ + 526 V Burgoyne, Dangerfield, Jenkins, Ibbotson.....think I'm safe easy.
 
I'm cooked thanks to Birchall.

Me: Sloane, M Jones + 20.

Them: Brown, Burgoyne & Fyfe.

I get 29 from Thurlow as emergency with Birchall being out. Not happy. Need a huge score from Sloane to have any chance.

Comes down to Evans v 56

My biggest decision this week was Evans v Wines on the ground, if that decision along with Birchall's late withdrawal costs me in the eliminator I will be livid. Hartlett -> Birchall 2 weeks ago was a shocking trade, almost as bad as Goodes to Waters :mad:
 
Through to next round comfortably with just 2050. Need to lift my game next week

I just had the most unbelievable finish to my eliminator!! I was leading by about 150 points with Evans as my unique. My opponent had Ibbotson and Danyle Pearce. Dockers smashed Melbourne. In the last quarter i lead by only about 30 points and thought i was gone. At full time Ibbotson was on 134 and I had lost my eliminator by 1 point. I went to the vent thread. Blew off some steam by cleaning my house up, checked the scores again and saw that Ibbo was docked 4 points!! I end up winning by 3 points. So stoked!!
