I can understand your frustration, as I was also interested in Garlett until you look deeper behind the scenes. Not as big a fan now, as I was earlier on.
Also in another way I look at Dusty's contract negotiations & the problems that created, with a player that has off field issues. Do you think we can take away from what the team is ultimately trying to achieve by everyone working in the same direction without extra distractions.

You just need to back your leaders and your coaches in to be able to get the kid to buy into our system and develop - He is a kid that will grow out of it and in melbourne away from his gang - He could be anything

Looking back at last years draft who would have thought that Nic Graham, Rory Atkins, Tim Sumner, Adam Carter and Dayle Garlett would be available post pick 50? There are sliders every year and all of those guys were talked about as 2nd rounders on BF in the lead up to the draft.

Nah mate, nothing like that, just YouTube the likelies and a few have a TAC future stars interview on there. Nothing too serious, but a bloke who is 17 and lists women as his major issue is one step towards knobness in my book.
