Ah _RT_ you are one deluded mothergoose.
I did say I know that it has no chance of happening, it was more about putting forward what I would try and do if I was in charge. I'd suggest that given the comments I'm getting it's a good thing I'm not in charge.

We'd be lucky to get Shiel for Jacko plus pick 6. They'd laugh us out of the room re pick 26.

Pick 29 for Batch is possibly even worse.
Jacko would never be traded out of the club, character and leadership stand for something, can't help but think without him , there'd be a greater vacuum in that dept than there is already

What do you guys think of a trade to Geelong, with Elton and our second for Christensen and their second?

We downgrade our second, trade a depth player who looks promising for a need on our list. Geelong get a promising key position player, and lose someone they have depth to cover and get a pick upgrade

Geelong would rightfully tell us to EAD

I reckon you'd have to remove Geelong's second pick from the equation, maybe make it a 3rd or 4th, or nothing at all.

Petracca continuing to impress, draft camp will determine his final position, if he tests well and continues his form could be a smokey for the top five.
Goddard is similar to Reid, the former All-Australian CHB and swingman critical to Collingwoods structure.

He's the exact type we should be trading out, but I fear you're right.

Out - 6 and Batchelor, Vickery
In - 14 and 15 from GC, 16 from Freo

Pick 14 - Weller
Pick 15 - Petracca
Pick 16 - Blakely
Pick 26 - Smith (who I think may slide ala Taylor last year)
Pick 45ish - Whoever slides out of the talls, maybe Watchman/Bevan

Rookie a ruckman and some speed[/QUOTE]
Why In hell would the suns want Vickery and Batchelor no way would they do a trade like that

Didn't get near it whilst playing forward. Got a couple touches playing in defence and beat his man, though Metro hardly hit a target (especially their talls) inside 50 all game.
Should slide right into our forward line then.

You gone done read it wrong bud

Deledio is cornerstone player. He is a Richmond player, he brings supporters.

I would like to see Vickery as a ruck type of player but he just doesn't seem hard enough. His movement in stoppages (e.g. sidesteps out of a contest) is exquisite but he lacks consistency in this area and his aggression and drive is worrying. He can go from average to elite, yet he isn't utilizing his talents.
Tonight's game IMO summed up lids , when things are going his way he's awesome when they ain't he is ordinary . You don't win right tough games with those types .

I've seen when things haven't gone his way and still puts in 100% and still wills himself into the game (Cotchin too). Things are not right at punt road and he is an obvious symptom being so far down but get rid of him won't treat the underlying cause it'll just get rid of player who can turn a game because we want to see obvious reactions

edit: I would add that Deledio needs a hard line coach... when he started getting away with things under Wallace he coasted and it wasn't until Rawlings pulled him up and said we are gonna drop you it changed.

I used to think he had evolved into a good leader but I now think he is just a great player with lack of leadership. That's not a bad thing if you are extracting him to his full value, I don't believe Dimma is anymore and don't think he can do it going forward. So either its get rid of Lids or Dimma IMO

So we actually look like having a top 3 pick? I am starting to really like Wright, Mcartin as talls, we need another forward.

Anything after 3 I'd say a mid. The top 3 are the talls that transform our ability.

Yeah I would love Pickett but we don't like those sort of players, not convinced on Petracca yet either.
