IIRC Lonergan was our contingency if Vlastuin went early. Would be great if we could get him with our second pick. I wonder why he hasn't been playing much for GC? Has he been injured?

If we let Hardwick see out the year and ride the bumps along the way we will probably get a pick 7 . Once West Coast and Carlton put the cue in the rack those guys really know how to tank so they'll March down the bottom of the ladder very hard and fast, we are just relying on a bloke desperate to save his job being consistent and stuffing up hoping to prove everyone he hasn't the plot and continue ing to play Hampson, old man Thomas , Grigg , sheds , Newy etc . We could find a gem at 7 but with top 4 we certainly do.

I think if we want to increase our chances of getting a top 4 pick or even fluking a top 3 then we'll have to extend Hardwicks contract till the end of 2018 .

Good draft will do the trick. Clean out 8 players and draft 5 kids and 3 rookies. Not really interested in trading. We don't have an oversupply of quality to give away and I trust us to draft well and our young players to come good

We will struggle to end up any lower. We play the Saints twice, Lions and Giants still to come, and winnable games against the eagles, bombers and adelaide.

Some impressive performances among that lot. My preferred targets for our first 3 picks in Duggan Petracca Laverde & Capiron all look like they are in form at the moment and I would dearly love us to find a way to secure the 4 of them.
