We will struggle to end up any lower. We play the Saints twice, Lions and Giants still to come, and winnable games against the eagles, bombers and adelaide.
To quote Kevin Garnett after Celtics won an improbable NBA title: Anything Is Possible.

Wishlist:
Player that can play midfield and never gives up, has good disposal, makes good decisions, good pace and has a good fitness base. I don't care if he's short or tall or light or heavy, if he never gives up and has all those attributes I want him at the club.

Will do.

One for you now. Paul Ahern?

Know him well. From my area the North West of Melbourne so know a few in the EDFL who have told me a lot about him and seen him play twice. Looks dynamic.

Think he will be a very good AFL player as he kicks the ball well and has pace and athletic attributes. Want him to win his own ball but has good tools to be a very talented player.

An upgrade on a O'Hanlon for instance for us. I think a mid to late second is where he will end up but it's a good draft.

What's your opinion of him? Obviously you like him?

I haven't seen him live. Only clips. But he has the attributes I think we need. Pace and skill and can do damage on the scoreboard. I think he might be better value than say Pickett. Allowing us to grab best available in the draft with us likely having too high of a pick to take Pickett.

If Petracca keeps beasting in the midfield I'd take him. Otherwise Weller. Or the season becomes even more of a balls-up and we take a tall.

Pretty much my thinking.

Plenty of good players in the 20 to 50 range. We need more picks in there.

Which others do you like? De Goey is another I quite like but I reckon he might go higher than that despite not getting much chatter on BF.

I am going through a few of the hopefuls now.

Billy Evans and Corey Ellis are two I really, really like from limited glimpses.
I think Ellis will go top 10. Evans could be one to look at later. Though if he keeps progressing he may go before our 2nd.

Pick 8 Duggan Ellis Petracca Pickett
Picks 28 Laverde Langford Evans Gore
Pick 46 Miller Capiron Goodyear Viojo-Rainbow

These are my current preferred picks for our likely first 3 picks. Of the 12 which ones would you guys go with this far out?

If I had to choose from those. Petracca, Laverde, Rainbow

I'd go Ellis just over Petracca, Evans and Miller to be different haha.

No talls RT?

I like it. I prefer Evans to Laverde but if I took Petracca first, not sure I'd go Evans too.

I'm also a fan of Bampton, though haven't seen him this year.

Do you guys think Nakia Cockatoo is still a chance to get drafted even with the injury?
Possibly. Hard to say though as a few NT kids have been overlooked lately. I think he has the attributes though and could be a bit of a bargain.
