They got Notte not selwood with pick 20, and I wouldn't expect you guys to rate Judd after taking Luke Ball ahead of him..

Selwood was taken with pick 22, so given Selwood is a Victorian & his brothers are/were very accomplished players in their own right, my money would have been on Carlton taking Selwood at pick 20 (if you'd kept it), as I doubt very highly you'd have taken Notte

100% right.
We have a team full of kids, every effort has been made to assure parents and the guys themselves that they will be given only the best chance to succeed and will be surrounded by the best roles models, tools like Robinson just fail way too many entry tests.

I have Petracca, Brayshaw, Weller, (Heeney) De Goey, Duggan and then Laverde. Laverde is everything except a midfielder at the moment, very capable off half-back (that's what really matters!), on the wing and at half-forward.

To be fair to BrianSpeaking , all his talk of us getting Cameron or Boyd was BEFORE the General did his knee. Obviously the trades would change in light of that.

3. Isaac Heeney (Sydney Academy)
4. Liam Duggan
5. Lachlan Weller
6. Jordan De Goey
7. Jayden Laverde
8. Brayden Maynard

They most likely will all be gone imo. Next bunch of mid-types for mine would be Maynard, Neal-Bullen, Bampton, Ellis, Blakely, Nelson.

There is virtually no chance that Lachie Weller will be available at pick #20.

Duggan most likely, others should be gone in the first round. Weller an outside chance if Gold Coast trade their 2nd pick, but very unlikely.

Duggan will be an absolute steal at 21/22, would be rapt if we got him with that pick. I rate him very highly.

There'll be a slider it's just a question of who. That's why I'd kill for another pick around 20 so we can take the guy we want plus a slider.

No, but he's more likely to be there than any of the other players I rate as 1st round quality. Neal-Bullen isn't great, Ellis I need to see more of and won't be able to, Bampton lacks skills, Maynard has no polish, Blakely is a poor man's Blacres. If anything I would go after Vickers-Willis, Langford, Miller and Liam Dawson (BRIS Academy) with our 2nd pick.

Backline for mine. He'd probably play VFL for a lot of the year like Bruce did and then who knows might be an injury or two.

Anyone know what his kicking is like? If it's good we could probably get away with all three back there.

His kicking was meant to be pretty damn good IIRC.

Everyone expected Taylor, Gardiner etc to go top 20 they didn't everyone also expected Templeton to be top 30 but didn't will definitely be sliders.
