I don't see why they wouldn't consider it though, as I believe Whitfield is better than WHE (and they play the same positions) & they're getting Petracca who could end up being the next Mark Ricciuto & pick 39 who they could use to draft a slider or trade the 2 3rd rounders down for a better pick or for a player.

We'd still have pick 21 & they still have pick 20.... We should both be happy

best game ive seen him play to date. something to look forward to next year. he's exactly what we were trying to turn siposs into IMO

Not a fan of Wright. I would only trade down if we were certain to get McCartin at 3/4; or stuff GWS and trade with Melb.

Pick 1 & Armo for picks 2 & 3.

Armo being contracted, I reckon would net a pick as high as 15 so effectively 1 & 15 for 2 & 3.

Melb get Petracca and Armo. I reckon they would be pretty satisfied with that. Very much a Roos type deal.

We lose Armo which I wouldn't be too happy with but prefer than losing Steven and potentially get Paddy and Brayshaw.

With people knocking Petraccas kicking you should remember that he was a basketball kid up to not that long ago and kicking is the hardest skill in our game to master so im pretty happy at how he is coming along. I know i am one of the few who just want to keep pick 1 and pick him but i look at the scramble to get a key FF and remember that west coast won the grand final in 05 with Lynch an Hansen but Gellong lost with 4 with Ablett and Brownless. I think developing our talls and getting class in the midfield is the way to go.
