GWS surely won't give up Griffin for 4 and 7 (assuming they get Carlton's pick). If they do Footscray is winning big time - 3 picks in the top 8. Will set them up nicely - a KPF and two more class players. They do need to get rid of McCartney though...

As someone said earlier - culture is key. So far we are a club people want to come to not a club that people want to leave. Going forward with free agency in, clubs like St Kilda need to have a good culture in order to lure the star players in 2016 onwards...

It all depends on what GWS want - Griffen v Petracca....

If I was GWS I'd take Griffin as he is exactly what they need - 28 & Leadership a la Ablett in GC

Remember there are other clubs vying for the no 1 pick so let's see what they offer....

it has to be a club with a top 10 pick and a high quality young player, not that many going around that will be willing to trade.

What we need to happen here is for GWS to not pony up either Cameron or Boyd (which I fully expect WB to be asking for, in some capacity) and for WB to want to get their hands on pick 1 in a 3-way with us and GWS, so that they can get either McCartin or Wright. Then we'll be back in business.
