No chance. If he hadn't gotten McCartin there I'd have taken him at 34 and then reached for my smokey Heeney with 35.
When I look back at this draft I'll have a hard time choosing between the Wallace selection or the second 12 hour wait when threenewpadlocks has his pick at #9 as my favourite moment.
Was following this draft so closely I missed MY first 5 picks in the bigfootykepper!

Everyone should do as I've done and put McCartin at the bottom of their rankings (unless they're intending to draft Wallace).

Kinda of easy choice in the end - was expecting threenewpadlocks to end up with Pickett so I'd be choosing between Heeney and Wright, which would have been a tougher choice! As it is, in end I get one of the 4 I had in the top tier which I'm happy with. Write up later when I'm soberLucky I'm at the pub tonight so it could be an interesting selection from me in a couple hours

Ah all good - I had my list pretty set. Definitely wasn't expecting Heeney to be available so maybe would have taken some time if Gut Running didn't select him but that made it pretty easy after that. I basically had Petracca, Heeney, Bradshaw and Wright on my wishlist so pretty happy that flaps took McCartin - not that I think he'll be bad I just had a group of players all around the same value after those 4

Mate, you were online at various times throughout the day yesterday, both on here and on UF site. You had more than one opportunity to flag your intentions. Regardless of the unfortunate Wallace auto selection, everybody was aware of the 12 hour draft time limit. If you didn't have access as you say, then that might have been a different issue, but unless somebody else was logged in to your big footy and ultimate footy accounts yesterday afternoon and early evening, saying you didn't have access is simply not true. Given the situation, I think you should be thankful for McCartin, as several coaches were petitioning for your Wallace selection to stand- not because you missed your selection, but because you were visibly online and not communicating.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
I had Moore and Petracca as my 1 and 2 for a long time in the offseason. Peter Wright was up there also but being drafted to the Suns was a bit meh...
Moore is a super athletic CHF/CHF who could well be the Pies next captain and is good enough to play from round 1.
I suspect that Collingwood will take a conservative approach but Moore is too good not to force his way into the side sooner rather than later.
Very happy to grab this kid down at #6. Thought I was no chance

You had your opportunity to say as much yesterday when you were online saying you didn't want Wallace and were second guessing your pick. Unknown Caller made it clear you'd be receiving McCartin if you hadn't selected inside your 12 hour window. You were online for the best part of an hour, commented in this thread and then went offline here but stayed online in UF. To me that's an explicit acceptance of McCartin as your pick. You've got McCartin.

Apologise, didn't want to take auto pick off to slow the draft any further. Not sure hat to do now, wasn't over the whole switching of players ect
