Really happy with how active and strong our league is. Never would've thought rebuilding a squad that finished bottom 4 two seasons running would be fun, but it's been great. Hopefully trying to sneak into that top 4 will be as much fun, but I feel sorry for you guys that have been in contention every season, you don't know what you're missing with going through a rebuild Top 4 is even more clear cut this season now with Gaz, Harvey, Pendles, Kennedy, Westhoff, Winderlich etc.. all heading to the other 3 Preliminary Finalists. Bring on 2015!

Mainly just providing an explanation as I want everyone to realise I know what I'm doing in trading out Daniher I rate him very highly, he hasn't missed a beat and he's only a 20 year old KPF. Like other managers I reckon he'll end up one of the top 5 KPF's in the league in time. My plans up until this off season were to build a level of flexibility into my squad. So that if I was playing a team weak in marks and scoring (for example) I could play guys like Daniher and take those categories without too much cost across the other stats. Have had a re-think recently given how the top 4 teams tend to dominate just a couple categories and that's been the basis for this trade (and earlier trades this off-season).

Will avoid going into loads of detail. A lot of thought went into the trade.

Just heard Tomlinson has been given dual position B/F status for next season. Based on 2014 rankings he just became my best defender. Which probably says more about how much trouble my defense is in than anything else
