So it looks like our membership base is growing at rate which will see us expand our Premiership Circle package to include bays on the 2nd level of the Ponsford Stand (City End) in addition to the current location of the Premiership Circle reserved seating on the 2nd level at the Punt Road End, which will allow for people on the waiting list to get straight in as well as open up additional spots for people looking to purchase/upgrade.

Interestingly, for any of you currently on the Premiership Circle package (like myself) and that sit in Bays N7-N9 would have received an e-mail last week alerting us to an impending expansion of the 3121 Coterie Package (who currently use Bays N10-N15) to also include Bay N9.

The club didn't want to forcefully make N9 members relinquish their seats, so they've put an offer to people in Bays N7-N9 that will allow you a FREE upgrade to a Coterie 3121 membership next year, and then a priority renewal in 2015 (as there is a waiting list) where you would then start paying the regular 3121 price. I'm assuming those in N9 who don't want to upgrade and relinquish their seats will simply be moved 1-2 bays over into the seats of people who did take on the upgrade (to minimise displacement), the club did say the offer was put to multiple bays to allow them the space to make the necessary movements with minimal disruption.

I choose to upgrade, club said they'd get back to me within 3-4 days, curious whether anyone has heard anything yet? Also, for general discussion, what do people think of the current re-structurings? Any 3121 members on here that could shed light as to what the package is like?

Certainly shows we're certainly growing, good news for our future financial performance :)

Just registered my interest. Hopefully I can get a seat at Punt Road End, city end would just be depressing. I'll be craving the atmosphere after what I experienced on sunday.

True, the Punt Rd end seats are great, fantastic atmosphere as you're basically sitting on top of the cheersquad, and get a great view of the ground.

Although, obviously with a growing demand for membership, the club probably has no choice but to expand packages to seating bays around opposition areas. Hopefully we can start to flood all parts of the ground, and turn the MCG into a fortress, and have an atmosphere where even Victorian sides feel like an interstate team when they play us at the G :)

I'm 3121, highly recommend it. If you've been offered a free upgrade take it up.

Put my name down straight away, package does look good on paper. In regards to the pre match address from an assisstant coach, does this take place down in the change rooms? Or do they conduct these in one of the bar/function rooms 3121 have access to in the stadium?

Also what is the guest pass situation? Are they limited, particularly for large games?

Cheers!

Pre game addresses are in the private rooms behind the seating area. You can get up too two guest passes to every home game except against Collingwood because Collingwood get the ponsford stand whether they are home or away and the Inner Sanctum members have to sit in our area for those games.

Also, just remembered. At big games they can be limited but you do get a few weeks notice to buy guest passes.

Thankfully we've been in N4 for 3 years now and have perfect seats undercover behind the goals. Gives a clear view straight down the ground and also provides great atmosphere with the cheer squad directly beneath.

Jealous.

Just a bit of a heads up to fellow reserved seaters.

I have had reserved seats on level 2 of the Olympic since the new stand opened and i know they have been sold out for seasons now. The view from the seating is possibly the best viewing from any vantage point in any stadium in the world, not to mention the bar behind the glass!!

Anyone thinking about upgrading to level 2 i strongly advice jump on this before it sells out. And not to forget it includes a grand final ticket when we make it in the near future! Something people used to laugh about when i told them it was included in my membership!

Random question but I've always wondered why they are called 3121 memberships - is the number something significant to our club?

I'm in N9, and I want to keep my seats so I'm hoping the club doesn't kick me out for 3121 members. I've got great seats undercover and happy with the people I sit with. Hopefully it's an option and doesn't get forced upon us. I called the club and they said nothing is confirmed yet, just gauging interest to see if people would move.

What's the atmosphere like in level 2???
I live sitting near the grog squad, currently m56, would live to be closer to goals though
Do you lose that atmosphere ???
Wish they'd open up more bays closer to goal on level 1, shuts me when I see opposition supporters near the cheer squad (just because they bought seats for that one game)

Just got an email from the club saying that I won't have to move! Great news and wrapt that the club listened to the supporters!

I would like to thank those Premiership Circle members who provided feedback regarding a proposal to restructure the N9 seating bay, via email and over the phone.
After much deliberation, the Club has decided not to go ahead with the proposal. N9 will therefore remain a Premiership Circle bay for the 2014 season and no member will be required to move seats, unless of course you were looking to change package. The Club wanted to ensure we did our due diligence when researching the proposal and we discovered, at this point in time, the majority of members would prefer to keep their seating the same.
Our research identified members in the N7 – N9 bays placed a high value on their seat and the security of sitting with people they know, as opposed to the additional benefits that the 3121 package offered.
As Richmond continues to grow, an important process will be to review and identify any development opportunities within our packages. During these periods we of course welcome and encourage feedback from our members.
If you have any further questions or queries regarding reserved seating for 2014 please feel free to contact me directly on (03) 9426 - 4449 or ajolley@richmondfc.com.au
Regards,

Alex Jolley
Reserved Seat Officer.

I'm also N9 and enjoy the people around me...clearly you JR!
Would prefer not to move further behind goals, and having sat in N13 on Sunday...wow, much better perspective outside 50.
Who normally sits around in N13? Assume absolute royalty based on seat quality.
