NFL 2014 NFL Playoffs - NFC Championship Game

Watch the CLink roar on Monday...again.

Seattle 27-17. Lynch to go for 80+ rushing and a TD, Russell to throw for two more. Rodgers to throw 2TD 1INT.

I'm calling it.

Packers 52-9

We didn't throw Sherman's way in Week 1. What noone realises is Cobb and Nelson were studying how me moves, how he reacts...

Just so we can go at him during this very game, in these same playoffs.

We'll embarass him.

hahahahahahahaha

Seriously, though, if Maxwell isn't fit you have a chance...just target the other side of the field all day again...

Every year, prior to the Conference Round games, I create the Super Bowl thread, and use it as a platform to predict the match-up and who will win (first team listed).

Every year since I've started doing it, I haven't been wrong ;) Maybe ONCE, but i doubt it.

Super bowl thread up and stickied but wont be opened until next week.

The NFC title game = the real superbowl. Neither AFC teams stand a chance

I don't get this.

Now unless the SB is at Lambeau.....Packers record away this season

Lost to Seattle by 20
L to Detroit by 12
W over Bears by 21
W over Miami by 3
L to saints by 21 POINTS!!
W over Vikes by 3
L to Bills by 8
W over Bucs by 17

Fair point. What I mean is neither the Colts or Pats can hang with Seattle or GB. Meaning the the real sb will be the NFC title game just like last season. Oh and for the record I have the Seahawks beating GB, therefore proving my point because both Pats and Colts would get destroyed by Seattle, that's just the way I see it

I think Seattle will win the SB but Panthers were within a TD early 4th qtr so you never know, they haven't blown teams out of the water this season. Then again never would have thought Seattle would destroy the Broncos last season.

That Seattle D is just amazing. No team can stay with them when theyre on song. Like they are right now. Theyre hitting their straps, they believe. They completely stifled the Panthers. It's one of the best D's of all-time, if not the best -- given the extra softer rules these days.

What margin do you consider blown out of the water?

Chancellor, Irvin, Thomas and Sherman are big game players. They will get picked off one at a time by other teams so enjoy watching this defence when you can.

I'm trying to get a case going for GB but Rodgers record away to winning teams give me no confidence. Seattle by the line

Their pass rush is phenomenal too. That tremendous natural pressure coupled with that Legion of Boom is the stuff of nightmares.

Going back a bit , I remember Dallas under Aikman. Their first SB side was superb then the salary cap hit and they lost key players for silly money offers. Teams will be circling around Seattle.

I am not a supporter of Seattle but I love watching them. Their 3 and outs stopping opposition teams is just superb to watch. And Sherman, regardless of your view of him, is just imperious. Thomas though was great against Carolina. At one point he had 2 solo tackles and 5 assists and until Chancellor fired up was holding that defence together.

Seattle has a window for sure. But there's no reason to discount them still being a regular in the playoffs for a decade (like the Pats have been), if they continue to do well in player acquisitions/draft, and can retain a few core players thru till they retire....like the Ravens D.

Those odds are stupid - it will be close. Could see a repeat of last year and have it come down to the last play.

The fact Rodgers got better as the game went on rather than got worse means he will be right to go.

In Pete/John we trust. Probably their only real screw up has been the Percy trade (and I'll take that just for the KO return TD).

All except Irvin signed...and Irvin is replaceable.
