I take it you think Le Cras will be playing midfield next year?

I take it you think Le Cras will be playing midfield next year?

I think he'll play a similar role to in 2011 when he would have reasonable stints as a wingman/receiver delivering into the forward line.

I don't think he'll ever play as a genuine on-baller but from all indications the club want to utilize his elite ball use into the forward 50.

EFA.

Honestly, I think the best thing about being his sponsor is that BigFooty's opinion of him is so low that he's almost certain to exceed it. I see him having a year like Nicoski's 2011 if he can up his fitness & skills just a bit and avoid injury & suspension.

Nicoski had skills that McGinnity could only dream of.

"Dom Sheed games as sub"? Either Sheed games as a Dom or as a Sub, but he can't be both. Make up your mind, and get back to the dungeon once you have, Sam Buttplug's waiting.
He can be a switcher if he wants, I have faith in his versatility

Am I the only one who thinks we have a real shot at going very far this year??? I know it's only been 2 nab challenge games but the signs are promising against some good sides, although both had some big outs, but so did we. This time last year we were tipped to go all the way, although most of us didn't agree. We have gained some good players that will slot straight into our best 25 or 26 and really Kerr was the only one of our retirees who had any impact in 2012 so the older guys retiring hasn't really made too much of a difference. I think with a little bit of luck on the injury front, and a softer draw, we could finish top 4.

List/age of players wise, we're in our prime, but considering we have to get used to a new game plan I would think maybe next year we would have a better shot if all the stars align. I all seriousness though I wouldn't be surprised about a finals appearance, or maybe that's just silly pre-season optimism...

I don't think it's silly, the core of our 2011 & 2012 side is still there, some have improved and all have more experience. I think injuries played a massive part in our terrible season last year, at least for the first half, then all the stuff with Woosh started to drag out and players started to lose the hunger, throw in a few more injuries, season gone. A fully fit, Nicnat, Shuey, Wellingham & lecras will make a massive difference, especially of Nic can play most games, it's takes a huge load off Cox allowing him to play more as he did in 2012, forward and second ruck. Maybe I am being overly optimistic, but I can see us having a very good year if we have a bit of luck along the way!

We have a sweet ride to a Prelim due to our bottom 6 finish and hopefully uninjured players.

I think we will crack the premiership this year tbh.
