I went danger. Cheaper, and Sloane won't go huge like danger can.Sloane vs Danger. I was initially in the Sloane camp, beginning to waver a bit.
don't go 3 players under 370 imo, 2 maxIm just not too sure who to choose under 370k. I already have Pearce and KK.

Leaning towards Bonts, will play consistent midfield time imo.
Defence is an exception if no decent rookies with JS come up IMHO.don't go 3 players under 370 imo, 2 max

I dont agree with that. The lack of rookie options doesn't make mid pricers (in this case 200-400K) any better than any other year. They are still a risk, and it's probably not a good idea to be taking too many on the same line.
Plenty of good options in the backline, as long as your only expecting a 90+ average.
The simple fact is, there are not many mid priced players that take the step every year. Looking at players coming back from injury is a safer bet, but otherwise its not really a choice based on anything but hope. Unless you are truley confident they can step up, then dont pick them, and dont lie to yourself so you can save a bit of coin.
Jaensch did it last year, I think there will be another Jaensch, but 5 is too many. Picking 1-2 might be okay as you'll have the option to sideways to whichever one emerges. A lot jumped on Jaensch before his first price rise. I think we will end up with a few decent rookies too. Dalgleish will be a good option (bans pending) and Richmond fielded a near full strength team (I think?) against Port so McIntosh is right in the mix. Hamling/Goddard/Saad should be there abouts too.
Parker, I'm on board.Parker v Danger

Newton, less vest likely and better JS IMOCripps v Newton for M7
Newton, less vest likely and better JS IMO
Griffen vs Wines vs Swallow vs Neale
And reasoning plz
Fair point, its probably a toss of a coin. From what I've seen Newtons been good, and didn't see Cripps today so cant judge. Think Cripps will be a better player but Newton has more years in the system and worse team with worse midfield is my only reason I'd pick himCripps isn't a vest candidate IMHO. Definitely not green vest at least. Possibly red vest, if injured or being towelled up but there are others who would be red vested before him, since our midfield doesn't run deep as it is.
Cheers, but think Swallow is a bit of a stretch. Also think Wines should definitely increase average due to his sheer quality and has also lost a few KGs to improve his fitness which should mean more points- just not sure if he can increase enough for me to want to start with him.Swallow - 115 average (possibly bias but playing in a potential top 4 side)
Neale - 105-110 average
Griffen - 105-110 average
Wines - 100 average (overhyped imo)
Pick two out of Dangerfield, Griffin and Wines.
Ebert v Boak and reason why
Actually leaning towards Ebert, apparently had a big preseason and Boak generally cops the no.1 tag
