Thats how i read it.

The convo was originally about a team going from last to first in their division though, i think they are easily the best chance in the NFL of doing it this year.
Manning almost in a retirement home
Rivers falling off a cliff (I don't agree but GG is right on something every 5 or so years. He's due so maybe he's right this time)
means the Raiders only have to improve enough to jump the Chiefs while the rest fall off a cliff.

Plausible.

SD will have a running game this year and Denver will be fine, HOF's dont suddenly lose it, Manning will still be Manning, maybe not the Manning he once was but good enough for another division title. Talk of a bigger running game this year under Kubiak anyway, not as heavily reliant on him which should only help his cause.

I have Chief's finishing second and SD third, daylight to Oakland. Im not as high on David Carr's ability/potential as some people.

Chargers will improve this season, they have added some significant pieces on offense. Chiefs won't change much IMO.

Raiders will improve slightly. What is their O-line like? Could struggle against KC/Den front 7

Looks like their line is pretty decent/okay, still I'd say around 4 wins

Two wins against both SD and KC?

I'm ok with that

NFC South will be so interesting this year, nice contrast from last year.

Really looking forward to the jump the Bucs, Falcons and hopefully Panthers make

I am looking forward to the Panthers winning the division title again.

You cannot really right off any team and you are pretty brave to suggest the Saints are gone for this season.

Any team with Brees holding center is a threat IMO.

I feel like the Saints are on the decline for another year at least. As you say with Brees there they are still a threat but I am more worried about the Falcons this year.

If the Falcons put the opposition to sleep like they put their own fans to sleep....sure, why not

Without their spiritual leader Junior Galette they are nothing.

You have a drunk as a head coach and QB who has a weak arm.

I reckon Gordon is going to suck

I've read conflicting reports that he's taken to the passing game better than expected and other reports that he's struggling with pass game, in particular pass protect. What's the story? Woodhead returning will help.

Stevie Johnson may be a smoky, don't think he's ever had a decent QB.

Think Rivers will have a big year.

Is that Desmond Trufant or Deion Sanders?

Were aspects of NFL BigFooty discussing the supposed cesspool of humanity that is Philadelphia in this thread? If so, here's an interesting social experiment that came to an end in the City of Brotherly Love.

They are the most hated and Feral supporters in the whole of the USA and maybe the world.

From burning down cars in parking lots and being voted the most feral out of every team this comes as no surprise honestly, you only have to look at some posts on here by Philly supporters and the chip on their own shoulder is huge like they are trying to make up for their own ineptness as a franchise while being a very angry and sad supporter base.

Philadelphia does have a high rate of poverty but none more than Detroit and a few other states and you don't see Lions fans or any other parading like this on a regular basis.
